Chapter 103: CIA's Despair—What Kind of Monster Is This?!

It didn't take long.

Another closed loop began.

Bang!

Alex's punch slammed into the reinforced security door, blasting a hole through it. Through the gap, a wary face peeked out—it was Copycat.

"You?"

When Copycat saw who it was, surprise flashed across her face.

The person who had come to rescue her… was the very one who defeated her and locked her in this place?

"That's right. It's me."

"I know we may have been on opposite sides before, but things have changed. So—are you coming with me?"

Alex extended a hand toward her, a clear invitation.

"Why wouldn't I?"

Without much hesitation, Copycat smiled and walked over to him.

Just like that, she followed Alex into the corridor.

Bang bang bang! Bang bang bang!

Gunfire rang out endlessly.

Up ahead, the now diamond-skinned White Queen was holding off the CIA special ops alone. Bullets tore through the air, relentlessly striking her—but they simply bounced off her hardened diamond body, doing absolutely nothing.

Through the hail of bullets, she pushed forward unfazed. With every punch and kick she threw, a special agent went down hard.

But there were just too many of them.

The floor was already littered with downed agents, yet more kept pouring in from every direction.

Whoosh whoosh whoosh!

Just as Alex and Copycat stepped out, several stray bullets zipped toward them.

There was no avoiding it.

There were too many enemies, and White Queen couldn't hold them all off alone.

"Stay behind me."

Alex casually reached out and pushed Copycat behind him. Every bullet struck his body, but it was like hitting solid steel—none of them left a scratch.

"Wow. You've gotten even stronger than before!"

Copycat looked genuinely stunned.

Back during the Manhattan hotel fight, this guy had already shown incredible durability. But back then, even a knife could pierce his defense.

Now? Not even bullets could get through?

"Raven, stay low and don't stick your head out."

Alex didn't respond to Copycat. Instead, he glanced toward Raven, who was hiding behind cover and unable to move.

Raven understood this wasn't the time to be reckless. She nodded silently and didn't say a word.

"Are you two serious? Now is not the time for chitchat! Get over here and help me already!"

Up ahead, White Queen kicked another agent into the wall and turned back, shouting toward them.

God, there were just too many of them—even she was beginning to struggle.

"You freed her too? White Queen? This is getting more and more interesting."

Copycat narrowed her eyes as she glanced at White Queen, then looked at Alex with intrigue.

She was just a mercenary—paid to do a job. Strictly speaking, she and Alex didn't have much personal grudge.

But that woman? She was Shaw's!

Alex really had come to rescue his enemies.

Just what the hell had happened while she was locked up?

"As I said—things have changed," Alex replied with a faint smile.

Then, no more words.

With a blur of motion, he was gone.

BOOM!

A sonic boom echoed through the corridor. Copycat's hair whipped around from the force, and when she turned, Alex was already gone from her side.

The next second—

A blur flashed down the corridor like an autumn wind sweeping through fallen leaves.

It tore through the CIA agents like paper.

"Ahhh!"

Groans, screams, and yelps erupted simultaneously. In that instant, dozens of agents were sent flying, crashing to the ground like dominoes.

Swish.

Alex reappeared, looking calm and composed.

He casually dusted his hands like he'd just finished a routine chore, then gestured to Raven, White Queen, and Copycat.

"All done. Let's go."

He sounded so nonchalant, like he hadn't just obliterated dozens of armed operatives in a single second.

White Queen: "…"

Copycat: "…"

Both women stared at him, completely stunned.

Was this for real?

That speed—what the hell was that?

They barely even saw him move. Just a blur—and then everyone was down.

Terrifying.

His power… was absolutely terrifying.

"So this is Alex's true speed?"

Even Raven, who knew him best, was in shock.

She was well aware speed was one of Alex's abilities—but never imagined he could move this fast!

What kind of monster had she gotten involved with?

"Why didn't you do that sooner?"

White Queen finally snapped out of her daze and glared at him.

If you could've finished it in one second, why make me waste so much effort?!

"Well, you've been locked up for a while. I figured you'd want to stretch your limbs a bit," Alex replied with a shrug, as if it were only natural.

White Queen: "…"

Gee, thanks!

Still, despite her grumbling, she felt completely at ease now—utterly secure.

With him around, even if they were inside CIA headquarters, so what?

He alone could tear through the entire base!

Thinking that, a confident, almost smug smile curved her lips.

You bastards locked me up for so long. Now the guy coming to wreck your place has arrived!

"Let's move," Alex said.

Raven, White Queen, and Copycat fell into step behind him, striding forward together.

All around them, the corridor was filled with battered, broken CIA agents. Not one dared to lift a finger. They simply stared, as if watching monsters walk by.

Sweating bullets, not one of them dared to stop the group.

Alex's god-like display just now had thoroughly crushed their spirits.

It wasn't until the elevator doors closed and the four of them vanished from sight that the agents finally let out a long, collective breath.

The monster… is finally gone.
