From writing quality to engagement, everything is really good. Would definitely recommend.

I'm currently at ch 70+ on MTL, and I was honestly disappointed. So we have an MC who reached Raftel already so he doesn't have any goals atm. So what did he do? Basically visit the main events and provide a commentary for readers. It became a reaction channel of a literal livestreamer for readers. XD Like the dialogues were kinda shit now since it usually breaks the 4th wall like saying, "the protagonist of this event..."

At only 30 chps this novel has me hooked. The MC is a bit overpowered but the overall story is great with a nice amount of comedy and a good pace. Looking forward to reading the rest of the story😁

Story was good until Roger died, after that the mc turns from a freeman roaming the seas into the standard Chinaman piece of shit. First thing he does after going to sea again is go to Ohara before the buster call then let it happen while also kicking away civilians so they can be killed since no Marines or cipher pole wanted to go near him. He also made kid Robin into a slave and then dropped her off on a rabdom island to fend for herself like she did in canon, just the standard Chinese garbage that ruined the entire story since he's always like that now

honestly it was good, at least until Roger's death. after that the novel goes into free fall with each new chapter. it boils down to: mc does something> people are impressed. mc does something> somehow nothing changes in the story. also, the mc can't read out of nowhere, although it's mentioned in the first chapter that he reads the newspaper daily, and writes a letter. it's mentioned again later that the mc reads and buys the newspaper and reads aloud and reacts to what he reads. so why can't he read from one chapter to the next? it's very clear that the original author can't create a unique and original story. As soon as the mc is left to his own path the author has lost his ability to write, quite simply because if there's no clear directional line to follow, then this author loses all coherence and originality it just becomes generic fan fiction like there are dozens of them on this site. the easy way to solve this was either a time-skip, or having the mc join another crew. or simply planned it from the start, because the feeling of this fic is that the author wanted a mc on Roger's ship, but didn't think of the continuation
