Regrets ?

The day had been painful for Felix and the worst thing to note was that he didn't understand why he felt like an emptiness inside him. He had always been alone in his apartment and it had never caused him a problem, he had never felt this sudden loneliness that pushed him totrue reflection without any response. The imagination of this woman of his kept manifesting in his mind, it was so painful that he no longer knew what to do to get her out of there. She had imposed herself too much on his life in just a few hours and thus became his worst nightmare. It was late and it was time for him to go to sleep. He went to his room where nothing had changed in the situation of his mind. He felt it everywhere and being plunged into darkness. When he thought he heard an imaginary sound as if she was asking him for help, he closed his eyes and squeezed them so tightly.

The previous night when he had heard her scream, she was in the living room so, instinctively, he went to the living room again and once in front of the sofa where she had been lying the day before, he passed his hand over it but the coldness furniture reminded him that she was not therethere, that she was in a cell, in unfavorable conditions due to her fault. A mistake that he did not regret because she deserved it. She didn't have to impose herself on him and his life like that and even worse at this moment when he was wondering if she was okay or not. At this rate, his mental health was going to deteriorate even more than he thought.

Carmen Rodriguez, how did he imagine her? Young woman of 1.70 meters with generous curves, which would mean that she was already not his style of woman for the simple reason that he liked models. So he had no excuse to say that he would support it. He headed into the kitchen where he hoped to smell the young woman's perfume but it was as if she had completely disappeared from his life. The situation was out of control and yet he couldn't just let go. He set himself a precise objective, that of getting her out of his life on her own and with after-effects.

Since in his directory, his only contact was that of Hugo, he simply reassured himself to enter the call history and launched. After two rings, he finally heard her breathing on the other end of the line.

“What’s going on, Felix?”

“I want her to be released tomorrow.”

The silence he showed would mean that he didn't understand and Felix didn't want to take days to explain to him because there was already nothing to explain. He himself could not say why he made this decision.

"I don't know what's going on but I think I should call Dr. Wood. You're still having your seizures and it doesn't bode well, Felix. You told me to ask for two days for her and now you want what kind, she must understand that she should no longer try anything otherwise she will pay the price. What's wrong ? How do you feel?"

"She haunts me so much. I thought it could only happen if and only if she was dead but she haunts me like no one has ever been haunted. I want her to be released tomorrow.”

Once again, Hugo realized that he had made a mistake in establishing this marriage. His friend's old demons were gradually waking up and he had to act. Increasing the days of Carmen's imprisonment was the best thing in his opinion, so that his friend could get his head back on track.

“She’s not going to come home to you, Felix. I can still leave the investment but I will compensate her and she will leave.”

“There’s no way you’re going to do that. She is my wife and I want her with me. You wanted my good and now I realize that she is my most precious good that I want by my side. First thing tomorrow, I’d like you to go get her for me.”

If only asking to kill her was easy, he would have asked for it to be done. Felix could not already consider her as his wife to the point of asking that she be by his side as quickly as possible as if her absence caused him pain. At this rate, a person was going to lose their life. Either Carmen or Felix and the person who had more advantages was Carmen since she could move around better. He had to find a way to convince Felix.

“I’m going to come see you tomorrow to talk about it, Felix because believe me, you’re not doing well at all. You called me twice to tell me she meant harm to you and even before that, you categorically told me you didn’t want a wife.”

“That was before I realized that I want her as the woman of my life and she needs to be by my side. Our marriage contract was for life, wasn’t it?"

"Of course!"

“Then everything is settled. No matter the worst that happens, she will remain my wife until death decides otherwise and at this rate, I am not prepared to die so that she can be a happy widow. I want my wife first thing tomorrow and that’s an order.”

he hung up afterwards and the word “woman” had a bitter taste in his mouth. For three years, he didn't know if the woman who was going to be his wife was still alive or not, he didn't even know if she had forgotten him and started her life agai

n or if she had waited for him.
