Chapter 7
Before Lindsay knew what was happening, the boys tried to hit Dominic, but surprisingly, he was fast - incredibly fast. He dodged their blows with ease, his movements lightning-quick and precise. And then, in a flash, he countered, his fists flying with a strength that sent the boys crashing to the ground.
Lindsay's eyes widened in shock. She had never seen anyone move like that before. Dominic's speed and agility were almost supernatural.
The boys scrambled to their feet, their faces pale and frightened. "Dude, what's wrong with you?" one of them stammered.
Dominic's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched. "Leave. Now."
The boys didn't need to be told twice. They turned and ran, disappearing down the hallway.
Lindsay stared at Dominic, her mind reeling. "How did you...? You're so fast!"
Dominic's expression softened, and he smiled wryly. "Let's just say I have my secrets."
Lindsay's curiosity was piqued. What secrets was Dominic hiding? She felt a shiver run down her spine as she gazed into his eyes, which seemed to hold a thousand mysteries.
"You're not like other guys, are you?" she asked, her voice barely above a whisper.
Dominic's smile grew wider, and he leaned in, his voice low and husky. "No, Lindsay. I'm not like other guys."
Their faces were inches apart, the air thick with tension. Lindsay's heart raced with excitement and a hint of fear. What was she getting herself into?
