Mid-Air Fight

Ishar quickly ran to the main corridor, and watched as the aliens, all tall and spiny, disappeared into the opposite path. He rushed inside the room and was met with a huge black screen, complete with Devanagari script, and a massive control panel below it./

'Uhh…Venkatesh? Mahendra? I think I need your help." he whispered.

Ishar waited as the drone flew inside the room, and hovered along the screen, along the two men to read it.

"Okay," said Venkatesh, "This screen shows the countdown to seven hours. And..oh my god. You only have 30 minutes left. Better hurry up."

"How do I set a course to drive away the spaceship?" Ishar asked, not letting his anxiety show in his voice.

"You see that yellow, squared button?' Mahendra said, "Press it. The screen says that one press equals 1000 kilometers away from the land, increasing the altitude."

"I think the computer is smart. It will automatically set course once you have entered the altitude. Press the button ten times and all should go well. It will give you 25 minutes to escape."

Ishar nodded. He rolled up his sleeve and pressed the button as fast as he could.

"Done!" Ishar yelled, unable to contain his victory voice.

"Oh no." A chilling, cold voice drawled from behind. One that Ishar knew too well. "We are just getting started, Ishar."

Ishar turned around furiously, and was met with the one and only, Dr. Tanvir. Why did his voice have to be so loud, that it indicated an alien of his presence?

The alien form advanced upon Ishar cruelly. He could hear the clamor of voices through his earpiece, warning him and telling him to run.

He staggered back, prepared to dash out of the room when the alien least expected it. However, the alien seemed to have no intent on letting Ishar go.

"You think you can escape? You set our spaceship off course. You have become our enemy. Now, you have no choice but to face the consequences of your actions."

Dr. Tanvir used his tentacles to throw the bag off Ishar. He raised his spiny hand, his eyes blazing with terrible intent, when a voice buzzed through Ishar's earpiece.

"I'll buy you some time." Pratap said.

Ishar, who was ready to dodge the attack, glanced up. The alien stopped mid-way and looked up too. All of a sudden, the small satellite drone zoomed towards it, in full speed, and hit the alien squarely in the face. It howled, doubling over in pain. Ishar leapt for his bag and dashed out of the room, with Karan guiding him towards the power room.

The ruckus seemed to have alerted the other aliens as well. In all their menacing glory, they blocked Ishar's way, advancing on him mercilessly.
