Author Review (Yeah, I’m biased, but hear me out):
Summoned Scum is the story of four dishwashers—just regular guys with regular lives who suddenly get ripped from their world and dropped into a fantasy kingdom. No training, no prep, no epic music. Just confusion, bad stats, and a bunch of nobles expecting heroes.
Naturally, some of them want to go home. I mean, would you really risk your life for strangers in a magic world just because someone asked.
Surprisingly the nobles agree they don't want untrained selfish people. They wanted heroes.
Well our MC is no hero he's a depressed disillusioned young man who just wants to matter.
Aaron decides to stay—not because he’s a hero, but because he wants to be and this new world might actually give him the life he never had. Of course, he’s about to learn that having rare powers doesn’t mean instant respect. Or strength.
This isn't your typical isekai. It’s grounded, a little raw, and leans into what would actually happen if real people got summoned to fight someone else’s war. No sugarcoating. And yeah, our boy is gonna get that Spider-Man treatment—so get ready for some pain before the payoff.
Give it a shot. I promise it’s worth the read.
