Dumbledore always believed that Voldemort was the greatest threat to the wizarding world. That changed the day a vampire older than Hogwarts itself walked into his office, holding the castle’s original title deed in his pale hand.

“A thousand years have passed, Headmaster, and the lease for Hogwarts has expired.” Dracula said, a faint smile playing on his lips. “You wouldn’t want to see Hogwarts closed and your students left without a school, would you?”
“What do you want?” Dumbledore asked, wary and solemn.
“Anything interesting,” Dracula replied with a sly smile.
“Well, the Defense Against the Dark Arts position is always available…”

And so, Hogwarts found itself with a new, eccentric professor—one who couldn’t be fired, and who found the affairs of mortals endlessly amusing.
McGonagall: “Albus, I’m not sure Professor Dracula’s lessons are suitable for children!”
Dumbledore: “My hands are tied, Minerva. No one can dismiss him.”

Draco glared at Dracula. “My father’s on the school board. He’ll make sure you’re gone.”
Lucius slapped Draco on the head. “My apologies, Mr. Dracula. My son doesn’t know when to keep quiet. We’re honored to have you at Hogwarts.”

Thus begins the story of a vampire who has seen it all and, out of sheer boredom, decides to stir up a little fun in the magical world.
