When a mysterious spacecraft crashes into a remote farm in Japan, Inko and Hisashi Midoriya discover a baby unlike any other. They raise him as their own, naming him Izuku. As he grows, it becomes clear he’s no ordinary child—he possesses immense strength, flight, speed, and eventually, super senses. Though he appears to have a quirk, medical scans reveal the truth: Izuku is not human. He’s Kryptonian.



Hidden away from a world that might fear his power, Izuku is home-schooled and taught the values of compassion, humility, and restraint. But everything changes when, at age 10, his parents reveal the truth: the ship he arrived in lies hidden beneath the barn. Inside it, a hologram of his birth parents activates and shows him his true name—Kal-El—and his Kryptonian heritage. It gifts him a suit that adjusts to his body, echoing the legendary colors of another symbol of hope.
