Kai didn't expect to wake up inside a heart-shaped colosseum.

Above him, glowing letters blinked into existence.

"This," Yui said, gesturing like a model, "is the Celestial Dating Arena. Since you couldn't choose between your divine and demonic fiancées, the system's created a new trial."
"Why does every solution look like a dating show now?!"
"Because love is entertainment," Nyxa added from the judge's booth. "And the viewers are very into your indecisiveness."
Kai froze. "Viewers?"
The sky pulsed. Millions of watching entities—gods, demons, eldritch beings, and one lonely tentacle with a monocle—cheered.

Announcer Voice:
"Contestants, please welcome your hosts—Lady Elyssaria and Duchess Malvexa!"
Heavenly trumpets and infernal guitar riffs clashed as the two stepped onto the arena floor.
Elyssaria glowed with celestial grace, dressed in an ethereal gown woven from star matter.
Malvexa wore thigh-high boots and a corset made from dragonbone leather, her smile sharp enough to cut space.
The crowd howled.
"Let the trials... begin!" yelled Nyxa, hitting a huge heart-shaped buzzer.

ROUND 1: "Kiss"
A dome of roses descended.
Elyssaria approached first.
She knelt beside Kai, brushing his hair with a gentleness that made the restraints feel like angelic hugs.
"If love is trust," she whispered, "then let this be my vow."
She leaned in, her lips soft and glowing like the birth of a star, and kissed his forehead.
Light poured into him.
For a moment, his soul didn't glitch.
Then—
Malvexa shoved Elyssaria aside.
"My turn, feather-duster."
She climbed into Kai's lap.
"Love is possession," she growled. "And I claim you."
Her kiss was fire and shadow, branding his lips and making him see constellations explode.
The restraints snapped.
Kai fell backward, smoking slightly.
Yui handed him a water bottle.

A new platform rose—this one covered in dangerous-looking weaponry.
Elyssaria chose a divine blade of mercy. Malvexa summoned a whip made from sin itself.
"Wait," Kai said. "You're not actually trying to kill me, right?!"
"No," they replied in unison.
"We're trying to kill each other's chances."
With terrifying grace, they dueled—light versus flame.
Each strike rang like music.
Every parry was a poem.
Sparks flew. The arena cracked. At one point, a small planet was accidentally created and then destroyed.
Kai could only watch, awestruck.
These weren't just goddesses fighting for him.
They were warriors.
And somehow, that made his heart hurt more.

ROUND 3: "Court"
The scene shifted again—this time to a romantic dinner table set beneath a sky of falling meteors.
Kai, dazed, now wore a tuxedo.
"Romantic memory creation phase," Nyxa announced. "One dinner, two rivals, one Kai."
Elyssaria set a celestial meal—each dish a memory of a future they might have. Children. Peace. Divine retirement.
Malvexa offered infernal cuisine—spicy dreams of chaotic passion, dangerous adventures, and ruling realms together.
As the night deepened, they took turns dancing with him.
One was like floating through heaven.
The other like falling into sin with a smile.
And in both arms, Kai laughed.
For once, not because he was overwhelmed.
But because he was happy.

At Midnight
The arena fell silent.
Yui appeared in the center, holding a golden heart-shaped tablet.
"The system has calculated the results of this trial."
Everyone leaned in.
"Score: Draw."
Gasps echoed.
Kai sat up. "What does that mean?"
"It means," Yui said, grinning, "your harem just got officially sanctioned."
A new system window blinked open:

Warning: Jealousy Levels Rising. Prepare for Side Quests.
Malvexa smirked. "Guess I'm not the only one calling you mine now."
Elyssaria nodded, though her wings twitched with tension. "This arrangement... is temporary. Until the next trial."
Kai groaned.
Nyxa popped in.
"And that next trial... is called 'Honeymoon Havoc!'"
"Of course it is," Kai muttered.
