hmm the first was a bit rushed with the familys death, and him being trained and after leaving that organization seems shallow and not thought out the best. probably needed something more impactful or big happen to make him change from being under the group to have a good reasonable story, it just seems forced and rushed when he stopped being an assassin. Like him having killed his family member but switch just after seeing two strangers be family switches up (after he killed other family members right by each other). the parts after the org are alright but probably needed something more for the connection between zhu yuan and the mc like why does he trust her, and is it reasonable. my thoughts are the dialogue is good, the world you built around it is also decent. i like his backstory concept. just the execution of it was not done the best, if you want to improve it just take your time and think it out so things dont feel forced, rushed or shallow. not much of a good critic on novels so yeah just my opinion. not a bad story compared to what i usually see on here so good job


overall, it is a boring story with a boring mc
