The designations in the brackets are alternative, official names, and they are interchangeable in the story. Some characters like the numbering system while others like the naming system. It also depends on the dossiers and documents, so this may be helpful to look back on.]

IV. Classifications
The Central Union of Resonator Affairs (CURA) is an international administrative agency that keeps an eye on all known Resonators and Hollow-related events.
CURA administers the systems of Resonator Rank, Hollow Creature Strata, and Hollow Breakout Class, which is the basis of worldwide cooperation and coordination.
All six major factions as well as various smaller factions are required to adhere to these classifications, ensuring a common language for personnel deployment, threat assessment, and inter-factional cooperation. International law and Hollow response frameworks recognize CURA designations as binding, despite differences in local protocols.
Resonator Ranks
Resonators are categorized into seven standard ranks and one provisional rank for restricted deployment or assessment. Soul resonance, combat aptitude, mental fortitude, Verse proficiency, field experience, and Hollow compatibility are all reflected in each tier, among other minor variables.
◇ Unclassified – Unclassified Resonators that are not officially recognized in the system, but official assessment is underway.
◇ Rank I (Cadet) – Cadet-rank Resonators are considered rookies. They are under observation and following basic training protocols before being cleared for missions.
◇ Rank II (Agent) – Agent-rank Resonators are considered field-capable. Cleared for mock operations and permitted limited independence under supervision.
◇ Rank III (Sentinel) – Sentinel-rank Resonators are considered competent operatives. Cleared for solo missions and low-risk operations.
◇ Rank IV (Warden) – Warden-rank Resonators are considered adept operatives. Trusted in moderate-risk operations.
◇ Rank V (Harbinger) – Harbinger-rank Resonators are considered excellent operatives. Trusted in high-risk operations.
◇ Rank VI (Palatine) – Palatine-rank Resonators are classified as strategic assets by CURA. There are only a handful of them in each major faction.
◇ Rank VII (Paragon) – There are no known holders, past or present. This designation is reserved for theoretical maximum resonance.
Hollow Creature Strata
Hollow Creatures are categorized into seven escalating strata based on their strength, resilience, Hollow Energy concentration, and other anomalous traits.
◇ Stratum I (Residual-class) – Minimal threat. Common.
◇ Stratum II (Aberrant-class) – Low threat. Common.
◇ Stratum III (Hazard-class) – Moderate threat. Uncommon.
◇ Stratum IV (Peril-class) – High threat. Rare.
◇ Stratum V (Disaster-class) – Severe threat. Very rare.
◇ Stratum VI (Calamity-class) – Extreme threat. Extraordinary.
◇ Stratum VII (Myth-class) – Existential threat. Mythical.
Hollow Breakout Class
Hollow Breakouts are categorized into six escalating classes based on scale, duration, Hollow Energy saturation, and potential for containment failure.
◇ Class I (Fracture-class) – Minor anomaly. No sustained Hollow presence detected. Contained within a localized area. Threat level not exceeding Aberrant-class Hollows. Recommended personnel at or below Agent-rank Resonators for training purposes.
◇ Class II (Breach-class) – Localized Breakout with Hollow presence. Short duration. Containment with minimal intervention. Threat level not exceeding Hazard-class Hollows. Standard responses by Sentinel-rank Resonators, at times by Warden-rank Resonators.
◇ Class III (Rift-class) – Active incursion point. Sustained Hollow flow with medium saturation. Regional lockdown may be necessary to follow safe containment protocols. Threat level not exceeding Peril-class Hollows. Requires elite personnel up to Harbinger-rank Resonators.
◇ Class IV (Rupture-class) – Large-scale breakout. High saturation. Displacement events are highly probable. Threat level not exceeding Disaster-class Hollows. Requires at least one Palatine-rank Resonator to oversee the stabilization.
◇ Class V (Collapse-class) – Structural collapse of boundary between reality and imaginary. Multi-region displacement events. Threat level not exceeding Calamity-class Hollows. CURA mandates a global cooperation of multiple Palatine-rank Resonators.
◇ Class VI (Void-class) – [REDACTED].
