For several days after, I saw neither of them.

Our paths crossed again at a treaty signing between my father’s corporation and Mistwood Enterprises.

Bianca, dressed in an elegant gown, stood right beside Frank.

When they saw me, their expressions soured for a moment. But since this was my family’s event, they didn't dare cause a scene.

Alpha Richard Spiritwood, a friend from my childhood, came over to talk about old times.

Thankfully, the event ended without any drama.

To celebrate Richard’s return to the country, I hosted a dinner the next week at The Midnight Kitchen.

However, on my way there, Richard called me.

His words were cryptic, but the message was clear: he wanted me to stay away.

Feeling a sense of dread, I ignored his warning and went straight to the lounge.
