Chapter 25 Powerhouse 1 Invinctro

Shio, Iguro, James, and Akiyoshi were setting camp at a forest after they reached the continent Astral.

Just as when they finished setting for camp, a holographic screen appeared in front of them.

The Captain of the Frozen Dragons appeared on screen.

"XSA" He said, and ended the call.

Akiyoshi noticed a change in the air and a change in everybody's faces.

He asked, "What did that mean?"

"It meant that they failed their mission, and they were not able to recruit powerhouse 2 Westrecto, and the [ASNO] reached there first." Shio explained.

"Wha!!" Akiyoshi murmured, "So the [ASNO] has a major powerhouse on their side?"

"Yeah." Shio made a quick reply.

"This is great." James commented.

Akiyoshi was shocked by what James said, and so he asked, "Are you crazy? What's great about this?"

"If we manage to demolish Westrecto, that will set an example to all the allies." James explained.

"Yes James is right." Iguro added.

The next day, they continued their journey, and they finally made it to powerhouse 1 Invinctro.

The country was just as magnificent as Westrecto, and maybe even more.

It was full of many people, and the castle was really magnificent. It had four wings and one center, and it was fully guarded by very powerful knights.

The castle was almost invincible. A person who would try to attack would be a fool, and he or she or they would be easily defeated.

They made their way to the castle.

"Hey this place is familiar." Shio thought.

"You've been here, I guess, cause you did say that you traveled the whole world." James whispered.

"I've been her as well, and i got into the castle." Iguro said.

They continued their journey, and they finally made it to the castle.

The guards recognized Iguro and allowed them to enter. When they got inside, they were escorted to the king.

When they entered a room, they saw a man with white long hair and a white mustache, and he was wearing a crown and a royal attire.

He was the king of Invinctro, and his commanding presence spoke for itself. This, king, was not like others.

He had full mastery of his magical ability, he was a master of hand to hand combat, he knew how to wield a weapon, and he always fought in the frontlines in a war.

This king was not a weakling that required bodyguards. He was strong enough to guard himself. He was actually the strongest in his country.

He was on equal terms with Shio when he released 15% of his powers.

'This presence, I've never seen or heard of a king who was this powerful. Actually, I have never seen a king who is capable of battle.' Akiyoshi thought.

When they stood in front of the king, they all bowed their heads and stood on one knee.

"Your Highness, we are knights from Lakhar." Iguro introduced.

"Stand up." The king commandingly ordered.

"Man this place seems like it's seriously guarded from the outside, but there are barely any guards inside." Shio said as he stood up.

'You fool!!' James and Akiyoshi started trembling. They thought that the king would be enraged by how Shio casually spoke with the king.

The king's expression turned serious, and he looked like he was about to order judgment on Shio.

This king was known to be very strict, and he did not tolerate anybody who casually spoke with him.

The king then spoke, " Mushi, my boy, you good?"

James, Iguro, and Akiyoshi were all confused. What is going on here? They asked themselves.

'Wait, Mushi, I'm the only one who calls Shio like that. How dies he know that name?' Akiyoshi wondered.

"I'm surprised that you can still recognize me, Arthur." Shio smiled.

"Of course, you may have grown up, but I can still sense your magic. It's still tremendous as always, even though you sealed some of it." King Arthur complimented.

"Your magic has grown a lot more powerful from the last time I met you. You might even be able to defeat me now." Shio complimented as well.

"Hold up, how do you guys know each other? Cause now I'm super confused, and also, how do you know his nickname, Mushi?" Akiyoshi asked.

"Kid, Mushi, and I come a long way together. He is the reason I managed to become the king, and I also gave him the name Mushi." King Arthur explained.

"I beg your pardon, you say that Shio is the reason you be ame the king, how?" Iguro asked.

"Five years ago, Mushi arrived here from Drectar.

Back then, I was 18 years old, and I was a disgrace to my family, the royal family.

I could not pass my royal Academy well.

[Royal Academy is a school for the royal family, and they don't teach the royals to fight but rather how to be a fitting ruler.]

My idea of a king was different than my family's idea, and I became an outcast.

But then Mushi came, and he showed me what a true king was and what he was supposed to do.

He talked as if someone who had lived many lifetimes.

He told me that a king is the one who must be at the frontlines and that a king leads by example.

I did not listen because it was that same mindset that made me become an outcast, but then he showed me what he meant.

In public, in front of everybody except my family, he punched me really hard and siezed my authority over the people.

They listened to him instead of me a royal.

That day, he changed my whole life, and he helped me train, and I became a bit stronger,and after he left, I trained even harder, and I showed my family, my own idea of a king.

And I valued Mushi since then." King Arthur explained.

"And Mushi, don't think that I forgot my promise to you." King Arthur reminded.

"Promise, what Promise?" Akiyoshi asked.

Shio ignored Akiyoshi. He cracked his knuckles and his neck, then said, "Bring it."

Akiyoshi, Iguro, and James were confused, but then they saw King Arthur preparing to punch Shio.

King Arthur drawed out all of his power and condensed it all into his fist. That magic power was enough to kill Iguro, James, and Akiyoshi with a single blow.

King Arthur released it, his one punch and BOOOM!

The punch handed straight at Shio's cheeks, and everything behind him was destroyed, and then everything was covered in dust.

"Oi Mushi, I hope you didn't die." King Arthur said. "Maybe I went too far with that attack."

"Oh please, that was nothing." Shio said as the smoke cleared. "Take this!"

Shio released 15% of his magical power, and he punched King Arthur, and the wing of the castle they were in was destroyed.

Gasp! The citizens and the guards gasped.

"Hahahahaha. Man, I still did not stand a chance against you." King Arthur said as he was lying on the floor.

'These guys are crazy!' James thought as he was overwhelmed and was freaking out.
