Chapter 24 the race to the major powerhouses

Shio, Iguro, James, and Akiyoshi were riding their horses racing with time. They were to ride until they reached the ocean, and then they were going by either boat or air.

"Man everybody except the Blazing Storm Division has completed their missions. The White Star Division and the Shining Diamond Division were also going to other continents, but they reached first." Akiyoshi complained.

"We're falling behind." He continued.

"Akiyoshi chill, we're going somewhere even further away than them, and it's the same with the Frozen Dragon Division." Shio explained.

"Mushi what's your plan now that we didn't get all the allies?" Akiyoshi asked.

"The plan doesn't change. We still attack after we have a powerhouse on our side." Shio explained.

They rode for hours and days with only a little breaks until they reached the beach.

"Wow! I always wanted to see the beach, it's si cool." Akiyoshi was amazed.

At the beach there were no people, it was only them.

"So guys, what should we do? Sky or sea?" Shio asked.

"Judging by how everything looks, I can say that there's gonna be a storm very soon, and a big one at that." Iguro observed.

"James you're the supervisor of the Headmaster you should decide." Iguro said.

"Well you're his right hand, do why don't you decide." James complained. He was uncertain about his decision-making skills.

"Shut up and just decide!!" Iguro ordered.

James looked unsure, and so Shio decided to drop the pressure a little bit.

"You're not forced to decide. If you feel like you can't, we'll figure it out." He said.

James respected Shio more than he respected Iguro, so he was not happy about displeasing him.

"Don't worry, I'll do it." He assured, with a fierce look in his eyes.

'Ok, there's gonna be a storm, but we gotta reach there fast. Traveling by air seems like the fastest option, but with the incoming storm, it's.'

'But just because there's a storm, that doesn't mean that the sea won't be dangerous. We might even drown. So where do we go up or down?' James thought.

Everybody was eagerly waiting for an answer. They waited for him to decide and finally he decided.

"Guys, we're going using the sky." James answered.

"But why the sky?" Akiyoshi asked.

"Because it is faster, we can't waste any time by traveling by the sea,it will take days." James explained.

"Now then, everybody step back." Shij said as he went in front of them.

He used his magical spell, Beast Creation Magic: Red Dragon, and a giant dragon, which was red in color, was created from nothing.

"Our ride is here, people." He said, and they all took a seat at it's back.

'Mushi can use beast creation magic too. What can't he do.' Akiyoshi wondered.

"Yo Mushi, how many spells do you know how to use?" He asked.

"I know about only 20 different spells, I wanted to learn all of them, all 10000+ spells in the whole world." Shio answered before he warned them all to hang on.

The Dragon took off and flew straight under the clouds. They flew at full speed.

They traveled without any problems until the sky went dark and fogs appeared.

They found themselves trapped inside a cloud.

"Oh shit. You guys better hold on even tighter." Shio warned, and they did so.

Shio made the dragon speed up even more. They no longer had any sense of direction, so Shio just went straight.

It was the start of serious turbulence, a lightning bolt appeared from the left, and Shio dived down to doge it.

More lightning bolts appeared, and Shio kept dodging.

"Guys we can't keep this up much longer." Shio said, as he was struggling to keep dodging the bolts of thunder.

A lightning bolt appeared from above them, and Boom! It hit them.

The dragon fell from the sky and went down.

"We're gonna crash into the sea!" Shio shouted.

The dragon fell even more, and it was close to the sea.

Shio regained control, and it flew up again.

They went back to the storm, and Shio flew higher and higher until they were flying atop the clouds.

"Let's go, write have a powerhouse to recruit."

Meanwhile, the Frozen Dragon Division had already reached the other continent, and they were now riding to Westrecto.

All nine of them were riding at full power, and they did not stop for nothing.

They had no second to waste because to them, each second was vital.

The only thing that they stopped for was to the horses' rest.

Their journey was full of dangerous magical beasts, but they still pushed on no matter what.

At a distance not too far away and also not too close to the [ASNO], two men, three women, and the boss were also riding to Westrecto the powerhouse.

The [ASNO] had not noticed the Frozen Dragon Division and the Frozen Dragons had not noticed the [ASNO].

Each of them rode until they reached a big open area.

There they saw each other.

The Frozen Dragon Division was shocked to find the [ASNO] there, and likewise for the [ASNO] except for their boss.

Both parties rode to each other's directions, and each of them were on their guard.

'The guy in front of the [ASNO] he has a blindfold and white hair and a small mustache. Before the conference meeting ended, Shio warned us about him and described him. No doubt this guy is the leader of the [ASNO].' The Captain of the Frozen Dragons confirmed.

"Yo guys, where is Shio? I was looking forward to meeting him." Nino asked in the background.

"You must be the leader of the [ASNO]." The Captain said, ignoring Nino and awaiting confirmation.

"Yes I am, it seems that you have heard of me, and by the looks of it, it appears that you guys must be heading to Westrecto too." The boss answered.

"Yes we are." The Captain simply said.

Both of them went silent for a while until Nax asked, "So then what are we going to do now? Just fight?"

"The kid is right. What are we supposed to do just fight?" Nino asked as well.

"That would be very pointless. You see, Westrecto only allows the first visitors from another country, and the others are kicked out." The Captain explained.

"So what does that mean?" Max and Nino asked.

"This means that whichever one of us reaches there first win." Both the captain and the boss said.

Gidyup! The knights sprinted with their horses.

It was a race of whoever reaches the castle of Westrecto first wins.

Fortune blocked the [ASNO]'s path by creating a huge ICE wall.

One of the girls destroyed it, and they were able to continue, but they were now a bit behind from the Frozen Dragons.

"Nyenyenyenye!" Max mocked before his used his spell, EARTH STYLE: EARTHQUAKE BURIAL.

And the [ASNO] were thrown underground and buried.

Chiyaaa! BOOM! One of the girls destroyed the surface and frees everyone.

They continued to chase after the Frozen Dragons.

"Man this guy won't give up." Max said.

"The priority is to reach Westrecto first, do anything goes." Fortune said, and he jumped off his horse.

He used his magical spell, Frozen Dragon , and he created a giant monstrous dragon of ice.

He rode it and passed everyone in a light breeze.

Nino used his magical spell as well, LIGHT SPEED TRAVELER. For every one second of 6 seconds, he will move at light speed.

Woosh! He caught up to them.

Woosh! He passed them and was now after Fortune.

The others were also beginning to catch up to them, and just up ahead was the forest that led to Westrecto.

The boss of the [ASNO] used a spell and shot Fortune out of the sky, and he landed next to his house, which he continued to ride.

The Frozen Dragons also blasted Nino out of their way.

Just when the Frozen Dragons were about to enter the forest, the Captain ordered, "Max now."

Max used his magical spell, EARTH STYLE: WIDE LONG WALLS, the spell created walls that were really long in length and were about 20m in height.

The girl stood on her horse and prepared to punch the walls, but then the Captain used a magical spell, MAGIC ENHANCEMENT.

The girl tried to punch the walls, but they did not budge. The girl punched the walls more, but they did not budge at all.

"No good boss. They must've used enhancement magic." She said.

"I saw this coming." The boss responded.

The Frozen Dragons entered the forest and left it without any problems. They finally reached Westrecto.

The country was magnificent, there were many buildings, many people, and one huge castle for a single king who ruled it.

They rode to the castle, but when they arrived…

They saw the [ASNO] sitting inside the castle and chatting with the king.

They could not believe their eyes. What happened? Didn't we leave these guys near the forest? They questioned themselves.

But they did not have the time to ask because they were kicked out, and they had failed their mission.
