Hinata Hyuga, far from the timid girl of canon, is cold, proud, and the model of Hyuga perfection—groomed to represent strength, not kindness. But even her pale eyes begin to crack when she sees the inhumanity Konoha shows one quiet boy in rags.



Sasuke Uchiha remains aloof and focused, but loneliness carves deep caverns in his soul—and it's the quiet presence of Naruto, not Sakura, that begins to fill them.
