## Hazel's POV
I settled back against the plush leather seats of Sebastian's car, my knee still throbbing despite the acupuncture treatment. The midday sun filtered through the tinted windows, casting warm patterns across my lap.
"You're quiet," Sebastian observed, his voice cutting through my thoughts.
"Just thinking about tomorrow," I admitted. The weight of missing my mother's anniversary visit pressed heavily on my chest.
Sebastian's fingers drummed against the steering wheel. "When your knee is better, I'll take you to visit your parents' graves."
His offer caught me off guard. This wasn't just a casual suggestion—meeting at a cemetery had an undeniable significance that felt uncomfortably like taking our relationship to the next level.
"That's not necessary," I said quickly, my pulse quickening. "I mean, it's kind of a private thing."
Sebastian's expression remained neutral, but I caught the slight tightening around his eyes. "Of course. I didn't mean to overstep."
