The Face of Consequence

## Hazel's POV

"You don't have to decide right now," Sebastian said softly, his fingers still tracing patterns on my arm. "Just think about it."

I took a deep breath, looking around at the stunning lakeside property. The moonlight reflected off the water, creating a serene, magical atmosphere that was almost too perfect.

"Can I see the rest of the house?" I asked.

Sebastian smiled, understanding my need to process his request. "Of course."

He led me back inside, his hand warm against the small of my back. The interior was even more impressive up close—soaring ceilings, custom woodwork, and floor-to-ceiling windows that framed the lake like living artwork.

"I had this wing designed specifically with your comfort in mind," Sebastian said, showing me a spacious studio filled with natural light. "For your designs."

My fingers trailed over the custom drafting table. "You did this for me? Before asking me to move in?"
