## Hazel's POV
Standing a few feet from Sebastian, I felt like we were separated by an ocean rather than mere steps. His phone call had ended, but the tension lingering in the air was palpable.
Gloria Everett had succeeded. I was now the outcast – the woman who brought shame to the prestigious Sinclair family.
"I'll drive you home," Sebastian said, walking back toward me.
I shook my head. "You don't have to. I can grab a taxi."
"Hazel—"
"Your family needs you," I insisted. "I heard enough to know that much."
His jaw tightened. "You're my priority right now."
"Sebastian, please. I've already caused enough trouble for one night."
He stepped closer, his eyes searching mine. "You didn't cause anything."
I looked away, unable to bear the intensity of his gaze. The weight of the evening's events pressed down on me – Gloria's attack, Alistair's cruelty, and now this urgent family call. It was all too much.
"What did your grandfather want?" I asked quietly.
