An Unexpected Confrontation

## Hazel's POV

The morning sun glinted off rows of polished cars at Sinclair Motors, one of Sebastian's many business ventures. Despite my restless night, I managed a smile as Sebastian guided me through the showroom, his hand warm against the small of my back.

"See anything you like?" he asked, gesturing to the luxury vehicles surrounding us.

"They're all gorgeous," I admitted, running my fingers along a sleek silver convertible. "But I'm not sure I need something this extravagant."

Sebastian raised an eyebrow. "You're dating me now. Extravagant comes with the territory."

I laughed, the sound easing some of the tension from my shoulders. Alistair's words had haunted me through the night, but in the daylight, with Sebastian beside me, they seemed less potent.

"What about this one?" Sebastian stopped before a stylish white SUV. "Practical but luxurious. Good safety ratings too."

"Worried about my driving skills?" I teased.
