My basic stats increased and i got a new title and there have been even an increase in my hidden stats too but how , i was awestruck at the new attributes values that was in front of me if i wasn't in the Adventurer's guild i might even begun to hop out of the happiness i'm feeling right now .

With the way you are beaming i guess you noticed as well most of your stamina and strength and even agility increased .

Yeah but how wasn't it said that trying to increase your basic attributes without leveling up could be quite the hurdle .

Normally it's but maybe because your attributes were weak to began with you were able to gain a few points after surpassing your limits in that last attack of yours but still you were only able to gain that much increase in your overall strength when you were attacking just now .

Then how were you able to achieve breaking through the first barrier of the D rank puppet with your previous attributes ?! .

Even with the current attributes you have you wouldn't have been able to trigger the puppet self-defense mechanism from the start and even if you were able to trigger the barrier somehow you mostly would have been sent flying together with your weapon from the rebounding force .

But you weren't and not only did you trigger the first barrier but you actually broke it altogether so the real question here is how were you able to do this .

I don't know but now that you mentioned it , it maybe related to the skill you gave me before , it made me more than capable of using a sword .

The novice swordsmanship skill can utmost boost your strength and agility by 10% when using a sword there is no way that it can be responsible for that much increase in your speed and strength or hey kid use Appraisal on the Novice Swordsmanship skill of yours and tell me exactly what it says .

Appraisal : novice swordsmanship lvl1 : boost the strength and the agility of its holder by 2 times when using a sword and since it's a passive skill their no limit for its duration other than the stamina of its user .

What two times increase didn't he just say that it only gave a boost of 10 percent to both strength and agility , what was going on here but i still told him what i found and his reaction was stranger than mine .

What are the effects of a lvl1 appraisal skill ?.

Appraisal lvl1 : can identify basic information of an item and can be used to observe other people status windows as long the people being targeted aren't 5 levels higher than the holder of the skill it normally cost 1 mana point to be used

Mine is different .

Different how i used appraisal on it when we were talking just now and it was quite normal so i don't believe there are any abnormalities with the skill itself .

Mine said that it was the ability to detect most of the information about yourself and others work on items as well , people with special tools can't be checked and the ability was invalid against those 10 levels or higher than the holder of the skill , Cost 1 mana point .

Firstly this is to wake you up from Daydreaming and secondly we aren't even sure if your skills are really stronger than normal and you already dreaming of taking the whole kingdom on and thirdly these aren't words that you can speak so carelessly .

But i already said that i want to be able to , not want to really take all of them on .

But the real reason to why i don't want to go back is because i feel that they won't welcome me with open arms especially that crown prince who for some reason is targeting me now , so until i'm strong enough i can't go back to the palace, as for the position of a hero i don't really want it that much anymore , its privileges might make my life a lot easier but it can also make the current weak me a big walking target with no ability to resist .

But are there some benefits from being able to see those hidden attributes ?

I don't know but there are rumors that those who were able to see their hidden attributes are bound to become legendary figures but why and how i have no idea , i guess you will have to find out on your own .

Oh, right old man Regard i kept on forgetting to ask you about how to upgrade my Appraisal skill level?.

It's quite simple just keep using it to identify different things and you will be able to upgrade its level successfully .

It was that simple then can i use the same method to upgrade the skill Novice Swordsmanship ?.

Yes and no, you see different skills have different ways to be upgraded if they were upgradable in the first place and as appraisal is an active skill you can upgrade it by using it continuasly to enhance its ability to identify the unknown things and that will force it to upgrade accordingly .

But the use of the same method on a passive skill have a varying effectiveness , for example your Skill Novice Swordsmanship needs you to be fighting with a sword more occasionally and in addition to that you need to increase your knowledge about swordsmanship or even spar against swordsmen or swords user for it to be upgraded but it's a difficult and time consuming task so most people tend to forgot about upgrading the skill level and choose another skill book directly .
