Do-Yoon was sent flying backward, landing hard with labored breaths. Despite the bruises, his eyes burned with determination.

Jin Seo-Won gave a small nod. "You're improving."

On the other side of the courtyard, Soo-Ran focused her energy into her palm, forming a swirling current of wind around her fingertips. The technique was still incomplete, but its potential was clear.

Seo-Won watched them both in silence.
