I couldn't stop staring at myself in the mirror. Was that really me? The midnight blue fabric clung to my curves perfectly, the diamonds scattered across it catching the light with every breath I took. For once in my life, I felt beautiful—truly beautiful.
"Seraphina, you have to get this dress," Camille insisted, her eyes wide with genuine admiration. "It looks like it was made specifically for you."
I ran my hands down the silky material, still in disbelief. "It's perfect, but I just—"
"No buts," Camille interrupted. "This is non-negotiable. You're getting this dress."
I bit my lip, torn between practicality and the rare feeling of confidence this gown gave me. For once, I didn't look like the rejected mate or the struggling college student. I looked like someone who belonged in Adrian's world.
"Okay," I finally agreed, unable to stop the smile spreading across my face. "I'll take it."
Audrey nodded approvingly. "Excellent choice. I'll have it prepared while you change."
