Lekan is 23, broke, stuck in his parents' basement, and halfway through his 379th job application when a mysterious light rips him from Earth and drops him into a crumbling fantasy kingdom. Summoned by accident, branded a slave, and declared useless for being a Healer, Lekan finds himself sold to a prince with secrets and expectations.

But there’s more to Lekan than even he realizes. Divine power pulses in his veins, and survival in this new world might just depend on his ability to wield it.

Smart-mouthed, underqualified, and way out of his depth, Lekan’s not a chosen hero but he might become something just as dangerous.
