Adrain

My story opens with a man defined by a lifetime of isolation, betrayal, and the sting of being an "outsider." His quiet, predictable life is brutally shattered one night when a casual acquaintance's delusional friend, fueled by a terrifying obsession, bursts into his home and murders him in a senseless act of mistaken identity.



Instead of oblivion, he awakens in an ethereal "realm of transition," encountering a luminous being. Here, he confronts the unfulfilled potential and deep-seated longing for connection that marked his previous existence. Surprisingly, he's offered a rare second chance. He reawakens not in his own body, but in a new, agile form within an alien world pulsing with organic light and strange flora. He learns his new name is Adrain, a name that signifies immense strength, nobility, and the mantle of a "keeper of peace." Confused and enraged by this bizarre rebirth, Adrain demands answers from the shadow-like entity that guides him.
