After being accused of poisoning his father, Crown Prince Kael Thorne barely escapes the royal executioner. Left with nothing but his late mother’s alchemy journal, Kael survives by treating plague-stricken villages — and secretly leveraging the darker side of alchemy to eliminate those who block his path.
Every cure earns him a new ally.
Every death sows fear among his enemies.
But the kingdom is rotting, and a shadow parliament rules behind the figurehead king. To reclaim his birthright, Kael must master an ancient secret his mother hid — an elixir that can heal any wound... or grant immortality.
Wow, really enjoying this so far! The atmosphere is super immersive—the way the author describes the rain, the village, and Kael’s struggles made it easy to imagine the world. Kael isn’t a perfect hero, which I love; his flaws and doubts make him feel real, and I’m rooting for him even as things get tough. The story blends fantasy and mystery well, and the tension between trust and suspicion in the village keeps me turning the pages. Supporting characters like Mera and Jorin stand out, and the slow build of loyalty is believable. The writing style feels smooth and human, with natural dialogue and emotions. Also, the cover art is seriously eye-catching! Definitely one of the best novel covers I’ve seen on the app—very professional. Excited to see where the story goes next. Highly recommended for anyone who likes fantasy with depth and good character development!
