Rigma

"Honey do you want to go by Uncle Guma's today to eat some pastries?" A young woman looks down at a small girl as they walk down the busy stone street.

"Ok mommy!" The girl's eyes light up as she thinks about what type of cake she will pick, a wide smile creeping on her face.

The young woman pulls the girl's hand as she navigates through the crowd.

The town of Rigma wasn't a big place, but It had everything one could want to raise a family. Rigma was famous for their carpenters, the carpenter guild of Rigma could proudly claim there wasn't a single household in the land of fire that didn't have a piece of furniture, carvings, or the entire house made from them.

Being a carpenter town Rigma had beautiful architecture, as someone was constantly trying to push the limit of what wood could do. Because of the need for wood, Rigma was located in a sea of stomps as lumberjacks worked year round.

As the town was located a bit south-east of the direct center of the land of fire, it was fairly peaceful. Too far from the borders to experience war, and while bandits could be seen in the area occasionally, a few town guards were enough to take care of them.

To every resident of Rigma today was just another normal day, or at least it should have been. Mist poured into the village from seven different directions, covering the town almost instantly.

"This is the fifth village! I'm in the lead!" A man with bandages wrapped around his head and braided hair charges through the mist. His eyes glimmer as he charges towards the village, almost like being reunited with a long lost lover.

In his hand is what looks like a giant scroll with a handle. A long and sharp metal sheet extends from the side of the scroll, almost making it look like an axe. Running towards the village he comes upon a house, without even taking time to think, he swings the weapon in his hand.

The axe-like blade easily penetrates the side of the house, but suddenly the scroll begins to spin and hundreds of paper bombs fill the metal sheet. It only took a moment for the bombs to appear, and in the next moment, a defining explosion propels from the tip of the blade.

When the smoke clears only the foundation of the house is left, in the rubble blood and body parts can be seen.

In another part of the town, a big-nosed man is running around with his hammer and axe. With a swing of his axe, another person will be chopped in half, with a swing of his hammer a blood mist is created. A second swig of the same weapon is never needed to kill.

Similar scenes are happening all around as the once peaceful town descends into chaos.

Far off in the woods a man, a woman, and a child can hear the screams of the village.

"We have been following them for a week now, and we have entered deep into the land of fire, what is this plan of yours? Watch them go on a killing spree?" Ao looks towards Zitsu, the veins on the right side of his face bulging.

Mei also looks a bit dissatisfied, including travel time it's been three weeks.

Seeing their looks Zitsu can do nothing but smile. He doesn't know the exact date for everything, only that certain things should happen. Only very important things have dates assigned to them, and the deaths of most of the swordsmen are not one of them.

"I was grateful at first for the information Mei, but why do you put so much trust in him? Kiri needs us right now and we shouldn't be out here." Getting no answer from Zitsu he turns to Mei.

Mei looks at Zitsu for a moment before biting her teeth "Let's just give it some more time."

Hearing her answer Ao continues to watch the battle with his Byakugan.

Zitsu's brows furrow, Guy should be around fourteen right now, so definitely a Chunin. The seven swordsmen have been attacking for a week now so Konoha should definitely know, as someone should have seen a town that's been destroyed.

Guy's team should be dispatched to deal with it, but there is no way for them to know the attackers are basically the seven strongest Kenjutsu Jonin from Kiri. For some reason, Duy appears, probably worried about his son's safety?

It only took them forty-two minutes to kill the entire village. As they finish their destruction they begin moving towards the next town.

Ao begins to walk forward "They're moving."

Mei glances at Zitsu before following. He hasn't been wrong yet so she wants to believe him, but things aren't looking good.

Zitsu knows nothing he says will help so he just follows in silence.

After walking for two hours Ao suddenly stops.

"Three ninjas from Konoha are approaching them, judging by their chakra level, Chunin." Ao mutters as if it's a small affair. If three Chunin could stop the seven swordsmen, then wouldn't every ninja in Kiri be rolled over by Genin?

But Zitsu is different, hearing his words he rushes forward. "What do they look like?!? The Chunin?"

Ao frowns, this is the first thing he says all day after dragging them around? Turning towards Mei, he sees her nod.

Seeing that Mei never gave up on him fills Zitsu's heart with warmth. This is how a Wife should be.

"Nothing special, two are wearing head bandanas and the other has a bowl cut with bushy brows."

Zitsu's eyes open wide as he clenches his fist. His whole body begins to tremble as his cheeks turn bright red. This can be called his first big operation, what he's about to do today will change the entire history of the Naruto series.

"It's time, let's go! But keep our distance!"

Seeing the drastic change Ao and Mei are both shocked. Were they waiting this whole time for three Chunin? What can they do?

"Zitsu, Little Hubby, were we waiting all this time for three Chunin?" Mei tries her best to smile.

Zitsu shakes his head.

Seeing this Mei releases a breath of relief.

"They are only the catalyst, we are waiting for a Genin, the greatest Genin in history."

Ao's face goes livid "A Genin?!? I don't care how great a Genin is, what can he do?!?"

Even Mei begins to frown at his words.

Zitsu walks passed them, glancing at them as he does, his word as he passes leave them both stunned, unable to move for a while.

"Kill four of the seven swordsmen."

Mei was the first to recover. She glances at Ao before chasing after that disappearing back.

Ao's mouth hangs open as he looks into the distance, the three Chunin are now trying their best to flee for their lives as the seven swords cut off their path to retreat, and just like he said, a Genin is approaching their location.

Ao frowns before chasing after them.

Guy, Genma, and Ebisu land in a field of boulders and trees, covered in wounds.

"Haa, haaa, haaa." Genma breathes heavily as he grips his kunai and looks around. "It's no use." His vision goes dark "we're surrounded."

Guy's brows drop "we can't outrun them at all!"

"No way" Ebisu's face begins to warp "Aren't those the seven swordsmen of the mist!?!"

"To be known even to the brats of other villages." The man with the cross-shaped scar on his face scans the three of them as his mouth twists into a grin "We've gotten really famous."

In Front of the three Konoha ninjas, the seven swordsmen stare them down in contempt.

Genma releases a long breath, as he begins to accept his fate. "Well?" Looking at the men in front of him he slowly opens his mouth "We can't take them on by ourselves."

As the words leave his mouth, almost like answering a prayer, a man in green spandex drops to the ground in front of them, glowing with green vapor.

Guy's eyes go wide as he sees the figure before him.

"I made it in time!!" A deep voice exits the man's mouth between breaths.

"Father?!?" Guy jumps to his feet, unable to believe the figure appearing in front of him, how? Why?

"Guy! My son! I'm here to save you. I didn't feel right with you going out on your mission this time, something just didn't feel right."

"But you're a Genin!! What're you doing here?!?" Guy begins to yell in fury, if he's going to die anyway, why did his father appear to die with him?

"Hush! And just run away, you three!"

Listening to the conversation the seven swordsmen begin to laugh. Let alone a Genin, even if five Jonin showed up it wouldn't change their fate.

Duy takes a deep breath "I'll hold the fort and buy time! Go!"

"Run away?!? But father! Our opponents are powerful Jonin! They're the seven swordsmen!" Guy bellows as he looks at the back in front of him, blocking his vision of the swordsmen, protecting him like an umbrella on a rainy day. "You don't stand a chance against them!"

Duy's body bends over as his skin turns crimson, the green vapors on his body intensifying. "I've got" he speaks through clenched teeth "The gate of death, I can open it and unleash the eight inner gates formation!"

Guy's face warps in shock "But that's"

Before Guy can finish his sentence he sees his father hand reach out to the side, giving him a thumbs up. "Guy, always remember the self rules."

Duy's face turns to the side as tears stream down Guy's face. "TO PROTECT SOMETHING PRECIOUS ENOUGH TO GIVE YOUR LIFE FOR!"

"Guys lets go!" Guy grabs the arms of Genma and Ebisu before running away.

As they run the seven swordsmen get into position to chase.

"You think you can run from your honorable death?!?" The big nosed Jinin grips his hammer and axe, Kabutowari, and lunches forward.

"His springtime of youth is just beginning! Accomplishing what I never could, he will go a lot further than me, but still needs time to grow. And I will become the soil for him to take root."

His still outstretched thumb slams into his chest as he sees the Jonin rushing towards him.

"EIGHTH GATE, GATE OF DEATH OPEN!" The green vapor around his body turns crimson red as his brows, stash, and beard flows like fire.

His face warps in pain as he looks at the man in front of him swinging down his axe, but to him it looks as if he's moving in slow motion.

"Evening Elephant! First step!" His right arm shoots out like lightning as a pure cannon of air pierces Jinin's chest, and at the same time, all the bones in his right arm shattered.
