"Master…" I call out the goddess while lying on the floor.

Indeed. After repeating the scattering moonlight fog over and over again while the goddess' clones nearly killed me with their endless barrage of attacks, I had given up as I was too exhausted to flee and use the skill over and over again and lie down on the floor as I prepare for the worst.

Sigh…

This is too tiresome ya know?! Imagine if you run around while heavy balls of steels are shackled on your ankle.

That's what I am feeling ya know? It's too much for me…

Haaa….

I am going to meet my end, aren't I…

Well then…

However, instead of me getting killed, the clones just stood up beside me before dispersing into thick white mists.

Err…

"You have done well, my stupid disciple." The goddess said, clapping her two hands.

I slowly turn my exhausted body and face the goddess who was clapping after seeing my performance earlier.

Even though I should be angry right now, I think that being calm is better than being angry, don't you think?

Right?

"Since you had grasped the style of running while performing the skill, I won't force you to continue, my stupid disciple." The goddess said.

Eh?

Hold on a second…

Haha… hahaha…. ahahahahaha!

Finally, I can now escape from this hell! Haha!

Instantly, my mind suddenly lit up in delight as I think about getting out from this seemingly cosmic hell. Heh, this lady is truly in luck today!

OP characters from some novels, this lady will soon catch up with you so prepare hehe…

"Just because I told you to stop does not mean that you won't resume, is that right my stupid disciple?" The goddess said telepathically. Her voice was like a whisper, bringing chills to my body.

In return, I nod at the goddess with fear.

This lady will behave properly. I am sorry for thinking about getting here.

After I nod at the goddess, the goddess once again, gestures something. This time, multiple geometric shapes and symbols appear before her, causing the entire floor filled with thick layer of fogs.

I look at the floor completely covered with thick white fogs.

Except for my legs, I could not see anything below me. It was as if I'm on a cloud.

"Now then, focus your inner Qi directly to your eyes." The goddess said, ordering me to channel my Qi to my eyes.

Err..

Are you telling me that I should blind myself, master?

I look at the goddess with my brows furrowing. I'm not a fool ya know?

Well yeah, carelessly channeling Qi to the eyes may cause temporary loss of sight or even worse— permanent loss of sight.

However, as for fifth stage and above, channeling their Qi to their eyes without care is perfectly normal for them. Their vision just goes white for a quarter of a second before reverting back to normal.

Thought that's what I heard among the talks of the fourth realm cultivators.

Err… I'm not really sure about it okay?

Anyways!

"Just focus your Qi to your eyes, stupid disciple." The goddess once again orders me to focus my Qi to my eyes.

Sigh…

Since there's nothing for me to refute since the goddess will likely shoot down any reasons I give her, I silently accept my fate before I channel my Qi to my eyes.

"Here goes nothing…" I thought inside my head.

As I channel my Qi to my eyes, my vision suddenly changes.

I see nothing but white colors.

Yep, I am in the state of temporary sight loss.

Sigh…

However, just as I was preparing myself for the worst, my vision once again changes, with this time reverting back to normal.

Eh? How come?

I see the goddess completely lying on a couch while directly looking at me. She knew that this would happen.

"Do you feel something different?" The goddess said, asking me if I feel something different that the usual.

Err…

There's not that much of a dif— wait a second.

I look around, only to see that my vision became much clearer. It was as if I'm wearing tons of glasses combined to make the perfect vision.

"Look at the fog below you." The goddess said while I am looking above at the cosmos.

I look at the goddess in turn and see that I can now see her cherry lips in such great detail even though I'm quite far from the goddess.

Err…

Ehem.

Quickly, I retract my gaze from the goddess and look at the fog below me instead.

Eh?

What?

I can look at the floor clearly even though there's still fog lingering. Err..

Is this some sort of a voodoo spell?

Weird.

"Now try using the Scattering Moonlight Fog while running." The goddess said, ordering me something.

Err…

Sigh…

I have no reason to refute, right? Poor me…

After sighing, I calm myself down as I run to some random direction. As I run, I split my focus into two parts to both focus at running and focusing my attention at the cold Qi around me.

As I focus myself at the cold Qi around me, the cold Qi turns into mists which then began encircling me.

Gently, I channel my Qi to the mists which in turn, changes the mists into thick white clouds. Heh, even though this lady's brain is too poor, I can still remember basic stuff, ya know?

For several seconds, I channel my Qi to the cloud until it pops out by itself, causing thick white fogs to gather around me.

I quickly take a deep breath for the white fog around me to scatter like a wave. I was now in the middle of a fog while running.

However, despite the fog being thick and that, I can clearly see everything around. It was as if such fogs are rendered useless to me.

"Touch the head of my clone." The goddess telepathically said to me as she summons a clone within the fog.

The clone in turn, slowly moves and began looking around as the thick white fog prevents her from seeing anything except the fog.

"Don't get spotted, my stupid disciple." The goddess added just before I was going to head to where her clone is.

Err…

Is this some sort of an assassination attempt? Hmm…

Well considering that I must pat the head of an unsuspecting clone, that means that I'm performing some sort of stealth techniques, right?

"Yes, my stupid disciple." The goddess answers my question telepathically.

Sigh…

I slowly approach the clone from her back while preparing my right hand to pat the unsuspecting clone. Heh, this lady will be the one patting you now, master.

Wait…

Why do I feel something weird from what I said earlier?

Hmm…

Weird.

*Pat.* I hear a soft sound of something being patted.

It was my hand patting the goddess' clone.

After touching the clone's head, the clone suddenly become one with the fog as the fog slowly disperse away.

"Good job, my foolish disciple." The goddess said while clapping her hands.

Err…

This is kind of an easy ta— wait no!

This a very hard task ya know master?! It's so hard that I am so stressed ya know?!

Haa…

I wish I could take a brake after this, don't you think master?

Yep yep, I should be taking a break now right?

Also, please don't make me repeat this for a thousand times.

Please.

"Hold my hand." The goddess, who had heard my plead, only looks at me and said those words.

I look at the goddess lying on the couch. Err..

As I look at the goddess, the goddess immediately vanishes from the couch and suddenly reappears before me.

She was the one holding my left hand.

Err…

"Mas— eh?" Just as I was going to say something to the goddess, my vision changes once again, with this time I'm back from reality.

Indeed. I have left the hellish torture room. Heh.

I look around me, only to see the goddess' cute buns above me. Err…

Indeed, I was sleeping on the goddess' lap.

"Young ladies?" I heard a voice beside us. It was a voice of an old man.

I retract my eyes at the goddess' chest and look at the old man in front of me. He was wearing traditional clothes with beads on his neck.

Also, I could see white bears on his face. Err…

Are you some sort of a wise sage perhaps?

Hmm….

"You two have slept on the wooden seat for over a hour." The wise sage said while laughing gently at us.

Well, blame the goddess, not me.

Sigh…

"Haha…" The wise sage laughs. "Please pardon this old man for disturbing your sleep." He continued as he strokes his beard.

"Haa…" I heard the goddess yawning. It seems she too has woken up from her sleep.

After yawning, the goddess stretches her two fair arms, cracking any bones as she stretches her arms around.

Although you are a goddess master, how can you be so careless that you even try to sleep in public?

Sigh…

Well, I should also ask myself about that. How could I be so careless that I sleep on some wooden couch casually?

"Venerable ladies." The sage calls out me and the goddess. "The sect master had asked me to tell the two of you that the marriage of the two lovers fellow elder Hyuxia and the emperor of a mortal empire will happen five hours from now." The sage continued, reminding us the marriage between someone.

"Oh?" The goddess said, mimicking an expression of someone being piqued by something. Err…

You already knew about the wedding goddess since you can read everyone's mind from the start. Please don't even deny it.

Sigh… How could be this master of mine be so shameless…

The sage, in turn, strokes his beard again before saying, "Venerable lady, in case that you have not heard where the wedding between the two lovers will take place, this humble old man will tell you instead." He once again strokes his beard before continuing, "The marriage of the two forces will take place at the Blue Moon Hall."

"I see." The goddess nods in return while muttering something.

She was pretending as if she suddenly gained an enlightenment or something.

Umm….

The sage, who had heard the goddess' response, claps his two hands before bowing. "This humble old one shall take his leave now, venerable ladies." He straighten himself up before continuing, "Sacred Moonlight Goddess, please protect this two venerable ladies."

As soon as I hear the old man talking about the goddess, I look at the goddess face. Err…

Somehow, I feel being awkward.

The goddess you are speaking of is here ya know?

She's right beside you, old sage.

However, instead of correcting the old sage, the goddess just simple tilts her head to the sage before smiling.

Couldn't this be get any more weirder?

Hmm….

I look at the walking old sage. He was walking away from us, going to an unknown direction.

"Pray to me, stupid disciple." The goddess said, while patting my head. She was looking at me with a smile.

Though her eyes were still closed as usual.

Err…

Why should…

No. If I talk rudely to the goddess before me, she will flick my poor forehead once again.

Hmm…

Should I? Or should I not?

Hmm…

This is some existential question…

It's hard to answer…

Nah, whatever. Might as well get my forehead flicked rather than praying to some shameless godd— argh!

*Pluck!* A loud sound of something being flicked resounded across the now-empty shack.

It was my poor forehead getting flicked by the goddess' fingers.
