Rodger's Secrets

After saying farewell to the Earl, Silver left the Estate, before leaving Silver was given an emblem.

"This is a token of mine, having this token will give you some power in the city. Although I would not use it to publicly in case our connection is exposed.

He headed straight towards the Southern part of the city in search of Albert Cust's land. After reaching the South of the city, he asked a passing guard for the location of the estate.

"Hmm." The Guard stopped, and with a thought said, "The Baron's land is about a mile further south, his Manor is surrounded by a small gate. Cust's family name is written on it."

Silver quickly thanked the Guard and found the Manor about ten minutes later. A single guard was posted at the small gate, surrounding a small mansion.

Noticing a lone assassin approaching the guard became attentive "Halt, what brings you here."

It was difficult for the guard to see Silver's face with Rodgers hat on. Silver decided to flash Edwards token towards the guard stating simply "Is the Baron in."

The Guard immediately opened the gate "Please come in I will retrieve the Baron,"

After being brought to a guest hall in the mansion the soldier went to retrieve the Baron.

Shortly after Baron Albert Cust arrived.

"Hello, representative of Sir Edwards what can I do for you?" The Baron asked somewhat apprehensively. Due to Edwards reputation, he was not too afraid, but still nervous.

"Hello Baron, I just have a small question. Do you know of a man named Rodger?" He then took off his hat showing it to the Baron.

Not expecting such a situation the Baron became rather shocked, which grew upon viewing the hat more closely. "Rodger? How do you, who are you?"

"I am an adventurer, I was tasked with dealing with bandits by a Mayor from a small village. Rodger was the bandit that I killed. in his possessions I found a letter asking me to speak with you."

"I see, Rodger was a good man. He had a wonderful family, but he offended a man he should not of. His family was executed for crimes they did not commit, and he was exiled. A few people knew of the situation, but could not do anything about it."

"Although I still do believe that Rodger's death was not unwarranted, I have decided to assist Rodger with his final request. Can you tell me who it was who framed Rodger and his family."

"Hmmm, I hope you do not throw away your life, but I will allow you to finish the task that you have taken up. The man who framed Rodger and his family was Baron Plackter, he is truly a dirty noble, gaining his title through bribery and stealing others good deeds. Although due to risk, I somewhat hope you do not take this task if you succeed I would be grateful."

"I cannot allow such injustice to go unpunished." Silver spoke.

"Is there any information you hold on Baron Packter that could assist me in this mission."

"I have gathered a plethora of information on Packter's patterns, he and I are irreconcilable enemies. If you are planning to act quickly, I can assure you that Pactker has no plans tonight and should be in his Manor. He has two guards defending his gate and has quite a few housekeepers. He does not have children or a wife, but will often take girls home. He lives only a few blocks from here. Although he is not a mage I would be careful with magic formations around his Manor." Baron Cust then handed Silver a map of the Manor, and a larger map of the entirety of Feral City with the Manor circled.

"I appreciate the information, I will complete the take tonight." Silver happy with the information gained left the Manor of Baron Cust, and head towards Baron Pactker's Manor with the goal of scouting the area.

With no new information gained, and a few hours till nightfall Silver explored around the large city.

Silver went towards the slums of the city and slowly walked around the city alleys. Silver who was doing his utmost analyzing each individual found a particular beggar. Compared to the rest of the beggars this person's movements were done without wasted movements.

Silver approached tentatively asking the beggar, "Hello, do you need any assistance?"

"What a sharp eye you have young guild member. It seems that you will be allowed to take me as an instructor." Silver did not expect for the beggar to be so straightforward.

"I will teach you a few needed skills, of course, it will cost you a bit of coin." Three Skills appeared before Silver.

Active Skills:

Misty Strike, Cast Time: (Attack Speed*1.1) Using an invisible hand technique bludgeon an enemies head with the back of your dagger.

-Stun the Enemy for up to 2.5 Seconds

-Deal damage (1.0 Attack)

-Stun Duration increases if used from Stealth.

Cooldown: 60 Seconds

Heart Thrust, Cast Time: (Attack Speed*.4) Drive your dagger through your enemy.

-Deal damage (2.5 Attack)

-Instantly cast from Stealth.

Cooldown: 100 Seconds

Passive Skills:

Invisible Threat, Passive Skill, An invisible threat terrifies all enemies.

- After killing an enemy instantly enter .

Silver was eyeing the skills with excitement showing. Quickly calming he asked the man, how much would the three Skills cost.

"Haha, not to much just 10 Gold each. Don't act as if it is too much, you have quite a bit of gold on you."

For normal players, even a few gold coins are far too expensive for skills. From Silver's understanding, this instructor was likely teaching him slightly more powerful skills than normal trainers. The normal trainers in town would at most charge one gold for beginner skills.

"I will take all three skills, thank you." Silver then handed thirty gold to the instructor.

After gaining these three Skills Silvers power once again became far greater. After learning the skills he bade farewell to the instructor and headed towards a magic scroll shop which was on the map he received from Albert Cust.

The Shop was rather small, but its name was interesting, to say the least, he headed inside, "Welcome to The Godly Scroll Dragon Shop! I am Taylor, may I help with anything?"

"Hello, I'm looking for two different magic scrolls. A Detect Magic spell which could see formations, and a scroll that would allow me to avoid or move through formations."

"No problem a Detect Magic scroll will be two Gold Coins, It will allow one to see magic spells, and formations for 10 minutes. Although I don't have anything that can allow one to walk through a formation, perhaps a Short Teleportation scroll will do, it will only work for the rather weak formations though."

"That will work well, I'll take them both" Silver spoke happy for the suggestions.

"For being my first adventurer customer I will give you 50% off just two gold will be good." Silver then handed over two gold and took the scrolls.

It was now nightfall, Silver started making his way over towards the Manor. He hid in the shadows watching the Manor for two hours till the streets neared empty.

There were two guards in front of the gate casually chatting to each other. Silver casted the Detect Magic Scroll viewing the Manor he did not see any magical formations.

He quietly snuck towards the gate and climbed over it. The Guards who were somewhat distracted did not notice him. He moved towards a window of the Manor and climbed in skillfully forcing the simple lock open from the outside. It seemed that skills from life did translate to the game rather well.

It was around midnight in game, he believed that the Baron would be in his quarters. After entering the manor he recalled the map in his mind. He entered through the window which should only be about two rooms away from the Baron's quarters. Silver slightly opened the door peeking out, he saw no people in the dark hall. He slowly moved towards the barons quarters before placing his ear to the door. He heard silence just when he was about to place his hand on the door he spotted a light magical aura on the doorknob; likely an alarm.

Silver stopped his hand and thought for a moment. He quickly took out the short teleportation scroll.

Short teleport: Travel a short distance in a chosen direction, and distance.

Silver activated the scroll instantly appearing in the Barons bedroom. He spotted a person on the bed and instantly activated he inspected the person with his new

Silver prepared to strike, he activated

Such damage was similar to an enraged boss! When Baron Pactker was about to react to the dreadful pain, he was then hit by stunning him, not allowing him the opportunity to scream.

Silver instantly activated followed up by to enter again. His stealth was followed by two and two normal strikes. Pactker's stun finally ended, he was already near his death. He immediately ran towards the exit of his room at great speeds. Unfortunately Silver already threw his dagger with ending the poor nobles life.
