Los Angeles.
8:30 PM at Alexander's mansion.
"Oh right, my family wants us to fetch them from the airport tomorrow," Sabrina said as they ate dinner.
"Sure, no problem," Alexander responded, "So uhm, are we not going to talk about the wedding?" he asked.
"I actually wanted to talk about it, I just didn't know how to open it up," Sabrina said as she twisted her fork on the plate.
"Why? Are you having some second thoughts?" Alexander reached out for her hand and held it.
"No! Absolutely not, it's just that…" Sabrina lowered her head as she thought of the words she wanted to tell Alexander.
"Tell me baby, what is it?" Alexander asked her.
Internally, Alexander felt his heart tighten a little. He was worried that Sabrina might back out. Lately he was having anxiety attacks about it.
He was thinking that Sabrina only agreed to marry him out of impulse.
"Can we keep the wedding low key first?" Sabrina said, "I mean I know that you probably want a grand wedding of course. I didn't know how to tell you this because maybe you won't agree and---"
Alexander suddenly chuckled, cutting Sabrina from talking.
"Do you find me funny Mr. Grande?"
"No baby," Alexander answered her immediately, "I was hella worried about our wedding because you didn't talk about it for the past 4 days. I thought that you changed your mind," he confessed.
This time it was Sabrina's time to chuckle, "Seriously?" she asked him, "No wonder you've been acting all weird for the past days," she said.
"Laugh at me more and let's see what's next," Alexander glared at Sabrina.
"Okay I'm sorry," she said while trying to stop from laughing, "But seriously now. I really want to keep our wedding low-key first, are you okay with that?" she asked.
"Baby, I don't care how grand our wedding is going to be okay? What matters here is the fact of being married to you. Of course I want to give you the grandest wedding, but if you want it to be simple, then we'll go simple," he said which made Sabrina smile.
"You know that you're making me feel guilty about you tolerating me all the time right?"
Alexander kissed the back of Sabrina's hand and smiled, "You're my queen baby and don't worry none of this are against my will," he said.
After eating dinner, Alexander and Sabrina decided to stay in the balcony for some fresh air. Holding wine glasses on their hands, they both enjoyed the cold breeze that sent tingling sensations on their skins.
"Tell me, what is your dream wedding?" Alexander suddenly asked.
Sabrina instantly smiled at the question, "You know, when I was a kid, I always dreamt of a fairy tale-like wedding. You know, fancy dress, fancy place and a fancy prince charming," she chuckled, "I was so addicted to those Disney princess movies that time and I really wished to have a wedding like theirs. It looks so beautiful and romantic," she said.
"What about now? What's the dream wedding for you?" Alexander asked.
"I actually don't have one anymore. I mean, the person who I'm going to marry is what's important to me," Sabrina answered, "The wedding ceremony is just for formality, the marriage certificated are the real deal," she added.
Alexander's lips suddenly curved into a loving smile, "You know, this is the reason why I completely fell in love with you," he suddenly confessed.
"How so?" Sabrina smiled at him.
"Because you're a very genuine person Sabrina," he said, "Your thoughts are really simple but meaningful. I mean, I'm not insulting you for having a simple mind okay? I'm just telling you that simplicity is what's making you a genuine person. You're very true to yourself. No masquerade, no dramas, no acting, just the real you," Alexander smiled.
"You're getting real good with your words now Mr. Grande, I'm really impressed," Sabrina teased him, but deep inside she felt happy. She can never get enough of this man.
In between their conversation, Alexander received a text from Henry Lockwood.
'Thank you so much for your help Mr. Grande. Lockwood Corporation will remember this. If ever you need help, my company will always be on your call.'
"Hey baby, I need to make a quick call," Alexander said.
"Sure no problem," Sabrina smiled at him.
Alexander immediately excused himself from her and went to make his call.
"Mr. Grande!" Henry greeted as soon as he answered Alexander's call.
"I just received your message. I'm guessing that the plan went well," Alexander said.
"Of course! Your arrangements are very effective, I must thank you for that," Henry replied.
"Just remember what we talked about Mr. Lockwood. Never make your son appear in front of Sabrina again," Alexander reminded.
"Of course Mr. Grande," Henry responded, "But if I may ask, why are you so protective of Ms. Sabrina Pierce? I have heard a lot of rumors going on that you hated celebrities?" he asked.
"It is none of your business Mr. Lockwood, we're not buddies for us to talk about this topic," Alexander said straightforwardly.
"Of course, of course! Pardon my nosy attitude," Henry apologized.
"It's fine," Alexander said, "I'll get going now," he said then ended the call.
After the call to Henry Lockwood, Alexander searched his contacts for Luke Daniel's number, Jacob's former secretary.
"Hello Mr. Grande," Luke greeted as soon as he answered the call.
"Congrats on the CEO promotion," Alexander said.
"It's all thanks to you Mr. Grande," Luke replied.
"But you know that it comes with a price right?" Alexander reminded him.
As we all know, Alexander isn't a charity person. He deals with things that come with a price.
"I'm not forgetting Mr. Grande," Luke said.
"I need your reports starting next week and I want results within the month," Alexander instructed him.
"Don't worry Sir, buying their shares isn't a task that is hard to do," Luke responded and Alexander ended the call.
Lockwood Corporation, of course Alexander hasn't forgotten what the parents of Jacob did to Sabrina before. If they were thinking that he was only after Jacob, then they're wrong.
He can never forget that Sabrina got into an accident because of the hurtful words they have told her before. The belittling words they have dropped that scarred Sabrina, he can never forgive them.
The Lockwood family owes Sabrina too much and he'll be the one to collect the debts.
He'll make sure of it.
