Crynn POV
O'Connell looked up, seemingly interested at what I just said, "You want to go to a city, whose name you don't sven know?" He asked jokingly, failing to hide his mirth underneath his face.
"Well, can you do it," I looked straight at him, unwavering towards steely gaze.
"And why should I help you," He gets back to modifying his equipment like I'm not here. Thankfully, I got the advantage of riches on my hands. I opened my briefcase and took out 3 galleons of gold. I placed it in front of O'Connell, there's no way he would reject this, bribing always tasted good. I smiled and said, "3 now, 9 after we get back," even in the cold night, the gold never fails to shine.
He looked at the gold coins and back at me, his gaze trying to uncover my intentions and a look of contemplation appeared on his face. "So?" I sat down and waited for his response. "Firstly, the city is called Hamunaptra. Secondly, I accept." Yup, money is really the true power everywhere. "Happy cooperation Mr. O'Connell," I shook his hand and turned away, walking towards the middle deck. "Call me Rick!" He shouted from behind me and I flashed him a small smile before going elsewhere.
I walked through the middle deck, lots of lights hanging around creating a bright atmosphere combined with the amount of people really makes quite a bustling scene. I whistled past all the noise and heard some chatter along the way. "O'Connell will surely the bet," A circular spectacles wearing blonde called out to a round table with three men. Hmm... Interesting, O'Connell made a bet about something.
I then made my way through the living quarters, quite a lot of rooms for a considerably small ferry. Ahh! How can I forget! My bonus objectives! I opened up my objectives screen and the blue shone upon my facial skin.

Well this is a long list isn't it and The only ones I can even try to achieve are the 1st and 6th mission. Like seriously though, what's up with the difficulty this time around. I still remember there being millions of scarabs in Hamunaptra, so scratch that off the list. I can't speak Egyptian enough to summon the undead so nope. Summon a God, even more ridiculously impossible. And how the hell am I supposed to stop the plagues! I'm not Moses dammit!
Ok, at least I can try to do the 1st mission, the 6th mission will be the easiest mission by far. Having settled my thoughts on what's possible and what's impossible. I continued my ship stroll, the nightly breeze ever so often touching my skin, the lunar shine touching my hair. Peaceful is the only way to describe the sensation.
Prang! The sound of broken glass! I followed the sound and more sounds could be heard. The obvious racket of close combat, wall thumps and falling objects traveled and captured by my earlobe. I looked through an open door, just in time to see a woman knocked over a man wearing full black Arabian robes and a keffiyeh hat. His face decorated with two tatoos, one under each eye.
It's the woman I bumped earlier. Ahh... of course, the heroine of the story. Just in time for the man to fall over some candles and burnt the nearby pink couch, a very... girly colour. "Ahh! The map!" The girl screamed and grabbed the map, forgetting the small hexagonal box beside it. That's the key if I remember correctly. It's used for opening a bunch of things that I forget about.
I stretched my hand to grab the small box, when the fallen man suddenly lunged at me, "You're not getting the key," the man forcefully shoved me off and looked towards the box with blood-shot eyes. I immediately unleashed the sword out of its sheath and brought the hilt onto the man's head.
He unexpedtedly caught the hilt with both his hands. Seeing both our hands preoccupied at the situation, it's time to play dirty. I directly knee kicked him on his third leg and oooh, the man's wonderfully disgusting painful face. He covered his between with both hands and howled painfully on the ground. Annnd, smack! Hilt to the back of the neck, a painful knock out.
"Who are you!" A shriek from behind me, woke me out of my victory glory, a cold metallic barrel on the back of my head. I shuddered and said, "I'm part of O'Connell's company," I knew the heroine is fierce but a lady pointing a gun is rare and all who does are really fierce and not to be messed with.
"And how can you prove that!" I was about to answer when gunshots sounded throughout the ship. hearing the woman's shocked scream, I immediately turned my body around and bent her hand, dropping the gun onto my other hand. "No guns allowed, now get a move on!" I picked the box up and led the still shocked woman out of the room. First night in The Mummy, a truly chaotic mess.
