Crynn POV
"I'll kill you!" Ardeth jumped up in rage, swinging his swords in the air spouting threats and curses all over. Slashing his sword, 4 blades of light emerged in the air, hovering towards us. I stepped forward waiting for the blades to reach me. In a second, I raised my spear hitting all four blades sof light.
The problem is, the blades aren't disappearing, it's as if the blades got stuck on my spear. The golden spear suddenly glowed and the 4 blades of light was sucked in by the spear. The next moment I looked at it, it suddenly shone a celestial yellow, quite like those balls from the assassin game, whatever the name is. (A.N : look up 'Apple of Eden Glowing' and you'd know what the glow on the spear looked like)
{Might of The Sun Ready}
HAH! Ardeth is going to get what he deserved. You think slashing blades at me is fun! I'll show him a taste of his own medicine! I pointed the tip of the spear at him, as he is still in shock knowing his energy blades got sucked into my spear. A fat beam of yellow shot out for a duration of 1 second and a travel time of 299792458 m/s.
Ardeth could do nothing but block as he braced for the impact! As the beam reached him, it surrounds his shield bubble resulting in it looking like a miniature sun. The beam continuing to persist, still surrounding his shield trying to break through. "NOOOOOO!" Ardeth screamed with dread from the inside of the bubble.
What is happening? My eyes can't look for much longer as the shine is too bright but as I looked to my left, Ferrous is goddamn sparkling like the sunshine. Which means the brightness in my vicinity has just been multiplied by too. but damn, to sparkle like that do vampires absorb and release light that much?
My thoughts were stagnated when another huge 'NOOOOOO!' came from the brilliant shine. The next I knew, I was thrown off the ground 5 meters back along with Ferrous. I would have have a splitting headache after this, I rubbed my head and wiped my eyes. What was that shockwave? I looked up and what I saw really surprises me.
I almost couldn't believe my eyes. Ardeth Bay is kneeling on the ground crying and his hands are holding a scimitar handle and a bunch of shattered blades. Did my sun ray just destroyed his sword? That doesn't seem to make sense, I theoretically should only release the same amount of energy the scimitar releases.
I guess the spear amplifies power somehow, or rather concentrates it? I'm not gonna say I regret it though, one less powerful weapon for the enemy means one less problem for us. I turned and found Ferrous nodding at me which I don't get, is that supposed to indicate something? He then closes his eyes and spread his hands wide, palms open as some sort of field is being pushed out.
What I saw might not be as impressive as Magneto, but it's still damn impressive. Ferrous managed to pull in 3 MP 18s and a couple of pistols and even one AK 47 and bunched them up in a line. With a press of his fingers, the guns started firing, automatically and semi-automatically. Woah, this is so cool! It's like seeing a weaker version of Magneto in real life!
Ardeth Bay although is in a state of disarray, still has time to put up a silver shield with his sabre. All the bullets are hitting the shield with ferociousity as bullets keep coming every second, every tick. I could see clear cracks forming on his shield as his expressions morphed into fear and panic the second time.
"Wait! Wait!" He shouted calling off the shield as he looked at us with pleading eyes. Ferrous stopped his firing and looked at me, I raised my eyebrows and shrugged. He took it as a clear intention to finish Ardeth off and readying his fingers for another firing volley. "Wait! I have something here!"
He rushed for his bag and scrambled for something as he continued tossing items off his bag until a look of recognition flashed his eyes. "Here! This is it!" He slowly took out a scroll with some ribbons sealing it. He quickly untied it and opened it only to throw the scroll at us. "Read it!" I cautiously went and grabbed the scroll.
This is not paper, its rougher than paper and also smoother in a sense of ways. I skeptically looked at the paper, and within seconds of reading it, I became fully astonished. Thank God we ddidn't kill this man, or else it'd be a disaster.
Ardeth Bay
The Egyptian Ministry of Magic has fully authorized you to guard Hamunaptra from anyone or anything. The use of force is allowed.
Egyptian Ministry of Magic
I don't know about anyone else, but for me personally, I wholeheartedly don't want to be viewed as enemies by two different ministries of magic thank you very much! I didn't know ministries of magic actually works together with muggles. "You can go on the premise of everyone leaving," I threw the scroll back at him.
Ferrous looked quite confused as to why I let him go when we could just simply kill him. Ardeth Bay bowed a few times and rallied the rest of the attacking forces to retreat. Soon, sounds of trampling hooves moved further from the camp and then all is back to silence. "Why did you let him go?" Ferrous spoke harshly, vampires really keep their grudges don't they.
"He has ties to the Egyptian Ministry of Magic, it would only bring us more trouble," I'm sure the Volturi knew about wizards especially since Ferrous only looked a little surprised when I used my magic. "The ministry associates with muggles? I thought its illegal to do so?" The Volturi definitely knew of the Wizarding World, even this guy knew of them.
"It may be illegal in your time, but not anymore," I can finally have my peace, I just slept but now I'm once again tired and heading off to another sleeping session. Thankfully, no one seemed to notice our grand fight and no one will question our abilities yet. "O'Connell! Bad day?" I found O'Connell and he'd seen better days.
"This will be my last mercenary work!" He huffed past me while pulling his hair. A man's got limits.
