Calian POV
I opened my eyes, slowly and looked around. I weakly gazed upwards, the roof is still there, why is everything red. "Calian, do you hear me?" I turned my head towards the voice, ah Jill, you're always a life saver. "Yes, loud and clear," I responded while rubbing my head, I'm having a killer headache and what is with all the red reflections ad is it getting a little bit hot?
"We need to get out of here, Mikhail help him up," I then shifted to the ground a bit and glanced next to me, is that fire? Right, the train exploded, how could I forget about that. "No need, I can do it myself," I gradually regained my standing and balanced my body, argh, am I having a concussion? "Through here," Mikhail's typical voice sounded from the side, kicking open the subway's damaged window.
"This is a disaster," he remarked and a final kick to totally dislodge the glass out. I went down and picked up my fallen submachine gun and followed Mikhail and Jill out of the burning car. "We're in the worst possible situation. The train derailed, passengers killed and nowhere out of town," Mikhail reloaded his M16 with a new clip before leaning on the side of the tunnel walls.
"The most important part is that we're still alive and that f*cker is hopefully gone for good," Jill shook her head with a bit of pain, she must ache a lot everywhere, same for me, same for the old man. "We need a way out of this city and a car is not going to suffice," Mikhail growled, his head raking for ideas but not actually finding one.
"Spencer Memorial Hospital," I panted and sat down on the side steps, I need a bit of some rest after a horrible train crash underground, hopefully that'll give them some ideas. "Pardon?" "I don't seem to get it," Jill and Mikhail spoke at the same time, Jill may be confused but how does Mikhail not know that an Umbrella facility is literally under the hospital, he's U.B.C.S itself for God's sake.
"I expected you to know more about your employers. Beneath Spencer Memorial Hospital is a huge underground Umbrella research station and if I'm right there may be an elevator somewhere within which leads to a hangar with a chopper," I groaned, now they should know what I'm talking about, I'm still on with this spy crap I portrayed myself as but they won't know that, at least Mikhail. I'll tell Jill when it's the right moment.
"Spencer Memorial Hospital, my superiors only subjected the place as one of the many places Dr. Nathaniel Bard might be hiding in," Mikhail had a hand up his chin, thinking quietly and planning in lost zeal. "What do you think Jill," I asked above where Jill also seemed to be contemplating on a lot of things.
"So that's why there have been multiple reports of families not seeing their loved once anymore once they got in the hospital, Umbrella really doesn't care about citizens, do they," that's not the point! Can't anyone stay on the objective at hand! "Let's get back at the matter. Are we or are we not going to the hospital."
"Of course we are, if we're any lucky then Bard will be there," Mikhail's hard determination is what I'd like to hear and Jill... nodded, that's very good, we can all go to the hospital then! "I believe no one will show remorse about our old friend Nikolai," I did kill him with a C4, a relatively painless death, the blast would kill faster than any human sense can detect.
"I can gladly kiss that bastard a farewell," Jill coldly smiled and Nikolai agreed together with her, no one likes him huh, good for me. "I believe we should now start heading upwards," I pointed in the general direction of the North which is above and above means, above ground. "Carlos, Carlos, come in, do you copy," Jill shouted over the radio a few times, only static came after. That must be some very cheap radio.
"Carlos, are you there," I tapped my glasses and Carlos' reply instantly got back, "I'm here, what's wrong super spy?" I smirked at Jill, showing that my means of communications are much better than hers, which she hmphed at, cute. "The train derailed, I'm afraid we're still in the city," I curtly responded, I don't really want to talk too much right now, my mouth's dry, I need water.
"Derailed?! Was anyone hurt?!" Carlos was shocked once more, it seems that today's shocker comes in bundles. It's right for him to worry, his boss, traitorous teammate and his saviors (me and Jill) are all aboard the train as well as a few cars full of civilians. "Basically, everyone died," I purposefully left out Jill and Mikhail to see how he would react, quite badly I suspect.
"Everyone! Jill! How about Jill?! She isn't so cruel to leave me in a Jill-less world, is she?!" I stifled a laugh and Jill looked up acting as if she did not hear that, Mikhail is as amused as he's ever been, choking a chuckle deep inside. "Just joking Carlos, Jill survived along with your captain, Mikhail," I heard a sigh of relief from the other end.
"Thank God, how about Nikolai?" I checked around, no one reacted too much at Carlos asking about Nikolai, he's a teammate after all. "I'm not sorry to say that he died as the traitor he'd always aspired as," better not to leave anything behind and straight to the point, everyone hated him, so why shouldn't Carlos.
"I never liked the rat anyway, where is your location?" Carlos asked, the sound of clips being replaced and bullets shot is all over his background. If I remember, Carlos should currently be in the R.P.D, searching for Dr. Nathaniel Bard's location.
"We're going to be heading to Spencer Memorial Hospital."
