Crynn POV
"Hamunaptra?! You mean you went to 'The Mummy'?!" She came up to me in a flash and looked down at her to find her eyes shining. "Ehm... Yes? It's a dangerous place, I almost died a dozen times and I hope to never return," I quickly said and her eyes continued shining, a big 4 pointed star in each eyes.
"I love 'The Mummy'! It's a shame that I had only just arrived after you've gone there," she looked lightly disappointed. "Well, it's not very similar to the original movie. It has giant moving statues, Anubis soldiers and vampire immortals hidden underground, not fun, not fun at all," I blankly said and felt a shudder deep in me, 'The Mummy' has become my deepest nightmare.
"That sounds very exciting!" No it's not! It's not at all! That shitting world is one I never ever want to see again! "Let's forget about 'The Mummy', let's not dwell on the past and let's move to the future to the slot machine," I hurriedly spoke and moved in front of the slot machine, time to roll for the next mission.
"So, here is the slot machine, where you swing it for the worlds. So, easy, normal, or hard?" Well, I'll let the new girl choose, a good welcoming right? Aside of the golden Ancient Egyptian bow. "I'm not a real woman if I did not choose hard am I right," shouldn't that be for a man, I'm not going to complain though, hard missions are the 'genuine' missions.
"So! Let's spin the wheel for hard!" I grinned and pointed at the slot machine, the lever moved by itself as the slots start spinning! This is still more intense than laying the slot machines in the corrupt Las Vegas casinos. "How those this usually go," Aria whispered from behind me, peeking out of my shoulder.
"The reels will eventually stop and we'll get a world." She tilted her head, "It's that simple?" She questioned while her eyes are still pinned to the spinning reels. "It's that simple," the slots are slowing down, "We should be getting our world and mission any second now," she nodded and looked on in anticipation.
{Fantastic Beasts : The Crimes of Grindelwald : Prevent the Destruction of Paris}
"Crap..." What the actual f*ck is this?! The third mission and I'm inserted into this whole mess of a movie! "Fantastic Beasts, I never had the time to watch it. If I remember correctly, a lot of critics said that the movie is a huge failure," no it's not?! It's fantastic! "Critics are assholes and I think it's a wonderful movie TO watch and not TO go to."
"Oh? Why not?" there's a lot of issues with Fantastic Beasts that makes me fear of going inside. "Firstly, have you ever watched Harry Potter?" A good way to start the explanation of how I fear of going into Fantastic Beasts. "I watched the series ages ago, I can hardly remember a thing, it's a children's movie series. It's entertaining? Fun hero series? Am I right?"
She really is clueless, isn't she. "Harry Potter is not a children's movie, it's a gruesome movie that completely portrays war. Fantastic Beasts, as the unconnected prequel to Harry Potter is worse. Harry Potter works up the stages of how young Harry's role as a hero becomes more apparent and serious in each movie's passing."
"Fantastic Beasts, however, plunges directly into war. There's no opening, there's no clear explanation of how the war could happen, just that it happened. Killings done by pureblood wizards without remorse and intense racism doesn't help the situation either. The situation is grim and unlike the sometimes fun comedy of Harry Potter where the main character gets to relax and to sit down."
"I'm sorry to say, but Fantastic Beasts have no time for relaxation. I had gone to the Harry Potter world before 'The Mummy' and let's just say, the wizards and witches are much more powerful than J. K. Rowling's writings. That makes Fantastic Beasts just much more of a nightmare!" I grimly explained and Aria nodded all the way through, seemingly a bit shocked.
"And how bad did J. K. Rowling got everyone wrong?" She asked. "She got a lot of things wrong. In the book, there isn't a goblin king, there isn't an entire town of centaurs with a very powerful grand elder. In the book, Hermione Granger, the heroine is described having large, bushy and untamed brown hair and a large buck teeth."
"But... I saw Hermione Granger in the Hogwarts train and I think J. K. Rowling really nerfed her experience. She has curls but not as bad as 'untamed', in fact it's quite good looking, scratch that, it's very good looking. Secondly, she doesn't have buck teeth, her teeth grew straight, aligned and nice probably from her dentist parents."
"Thirdly, again, the wizards and witches are much more powerful and adapt in magic than in the books and movies so you could see the disparity here. That, means, once entering Fantastic Beasts, we must stay vigilant. Anyway, we could get going," I smiled at the end, showing her my most charming smile that I could think of as she went deep into thinking.
"I guess I'll have to experience it firsthand, so like you just said, Cry. Let's get going," I grinned widely and was just about to press the 'Enter World' button when I suddenly thought of something. "Wait for a moment. Could you perhaps try to think of the word 'Title'?" She nodded and looked surprised. "Yes, there are 5 empty slots and 1 available title, Book Worm?"
"Yes, Book Worm. Can you see the title description?" I asked her again, looks like my reward is also her reward then. "Allows to learn a book in a world with the cost of mission merits, cooldown of 30 days," she finished reading and wow that's quite a powerful title, with that title, she could learn books and maybe even some spells!
"Awesome! Now, are you ready," I smiled and she nodded. And so I pressed the button and I'm once again sucked into blackness but different from before, I now have a companion with me!
