Crynn POV
Grindelwald turned away as he went down the steps in mock disappointment. Theseus and Newt silently gasped, their eyes thunderous in shock. I and Aria however are watching this whole spectacle like a movie, what's missing are buckets of popcorn and a multitude of packed theatre seats, alas we're not in a movie theatre but in a real world.
Leta then shifted her head to look at Theseus in melancholy and devotion only to say, "I love you" and looked at Grindelwald's back in determination! Theseus gazed at Tina with a look of helplessness and an eye that clearly says, "Please don't." But that's like any other, is not going to happen because loved ones always die.
A high-powered fat beam of orange struck from Leta's wand as it moved waves to hit Grindelwald in the back! Grindelwald merely raised a little of his wand as a shield formed behind him, shattering the spell at once, doing no damage to his own bubble. Knowing that she failed and won't succeed, Leta decided to give Abernathy standing on the stage, a shot.
White light knocked Abernathy into the air and off the stage, onto the sides in a loud thud! But what worries me the most is not Grindelwald, nor Abernathy, it's the skull full of gas on his hands! The skull fell to the ground, bursting to pieces as the condensed and pressurized smoke within blasted out!
A whirlpool formed and a small cyclone that covered the room was made as strong smoky winds carry the flames over our heads and down below our knees. F*cking shit! Fire is all around us, carried by strong currents, if I'm not careful, I'll be burned to death! "Go! Go!" Leta briefly turned towards Theseus in sadness.
Theseus, very unwilling, tried to fight through the fire to get to Leta, but his efforts are near to null as his spells deem useless towards the flames. I need to make a choice, here, to save or not to save, to save or not to save. Arghhhh... F*ck it! "Newt, the moment the flames increased its rampancy, I need you to help me apparate Aria out," I muttered beside Newt, looking rather sorrowful, he still nodded though to show he understands.
Okay, life or death, you only live twice, let's try this! I unsheathed the saber on my left, aimed with my eye and throw! The saber slipped out of my hand and made a sharp lunge to the steps in between Grindelwald standing on the stage and Leta on the incline! 'Flight of a Dwarf!' I called in my heart and I felt a slight tug on my body and I blinked my eyes and the next thing I see is me standing in between Grindelwald and Leta!
Upon my arrival I immediately slashed the saber down and to the sides, unlike Theseus' spells, my sabers are anti magic, although it's not as 'anti' as I imagined. But this time, the flames are carried by wind resulting from magic, I can just cut the magic flowing in the wind off! I unsheathed my second saber, and sliced in a circular path around me, creating a space in which the wind fire can't reach!
"You tried to foil my escape in New York! You failed! This time, you'll fail again!" Grindelwald shouted in rage as he concentrated the flames to move around us! I plunged both swords into the ground as the flames try to move in, past the anti magic shields! "What are you doing! Apparate us out!" I yelled at Leta, looking quite blank, I guess she expected to die here, well I saved her, so she should repay the debt by saving us from this place!
Leta was brought out of her mind as she vigorously waved her wand and a black vortex sucked us in! And the moment after, the black vortex opened and vomited us out! God bless you! God bless me! I escaped alive out of the f*cking hell hole! That was too dangerous for my liking, Grindelwald is way too strong and I'm frankly way too weak! I sheathed both my swords back.
"And I don't receive any thanks, great?!" I cried in exasperation as I ruffled my hair in annoyance, people nowadays man, no manners! "Thank you!" Leta shouted as I walked up some bit of stairs. We're out of the room and now facing the night sky, trees, and whole complex of cemeteries and tombstones ahead of us, also, your-f*cking-welcome!
A loud roar sounded from the direction of the room we were just in. Get read for all the fun, gals and boys cause this cemetery is going to get shaken up! Boom! Boom! Boom! Consecutive blows sounded and the upper doors exploded one by one as energized and oversized limbs of dark colored flames that once more burned so hot it became blue instead, even though it isn't hot like at all.
The entire center of the mausoleum just became brighter and bigger than the Olympic torch which should generally be much more majestic but this one is just much more ruthless! Like, some of the small crypts and statues above the center was just razed in flames! "Bloody hell!" Leta Lestrange said out loud in fear!
"Get up here! It's no time to say bloody hell unless you want to end up in a bloody hell!" I urged Leta to go up the stairs as her position is just a little bit too close to the flames perhaps, okay maybe not a little bit but borderline bordering it. I don't want my previous rescue to end up in a heap of ashes that would lay rest in grievance on this cemetery grounds!
A whip of fire was brought down towards us but Leta deflected it away pretty well. Time for me to come in however and steal a line from an immortal! "Everyone! Cast Finite into the ground! Don't let Paris be destroyed under Grindelwald's glory!" I shouted the loudest I could as I summoned my wand.
"Finite Incantatem!" And plunging into the ground!
