Towards Darkness and Beyond, Our Soul Goes

{A/N : God! This chapter is a long one, it's also the last of this volume! The next volume may be one most wouldn't like as it is set in a world created to be so great, so anticipated in 2020 only to become the most disappointing, can you guess it? This new volume follows not on the world already created.}

{But it expands outwards towards the far reaches. Expect a lot of originality as I try to make something of my own in a world I don't own. Like seriously, this is a very good franchise turned bad for so many reasons but I still loved it and even though I'm playing it full of errors, I so loved it. The lore is too much, the story not enough, that's why I'm here to give myself a story to read and hopefully one in which all the readers will enjoy (I'm not expecting everyone to enjoy it especially since most don't enjoy their experience in this world anyway so don't worry, if you don't enjoy it then go read other novels, many are better).}

{Anyway, I think I've talked too much but do savor this last chapter of the volume, I tried to write this one as well as every other chapter the best I could. I am after all a very amateur writer, I started writing last year and how far it had evolved to. I've always appreciated the readers and well, frankly, thank you all for reading even if I wrote this story only for myself to read and to blast out all my ideas onto but still, thanks a lot.}

Crynn POV

I felt the magic, such strength beneath my wand, below my finger tips! The power, the control of it over me! Well, sadly, I'm no villain and I'm not easily manipulated! I felt the magic in the air and the magic inside me resonating which is a weird sensation, all the magic I've done, I don't even really know where it came from.

Now I know, magic is around us, the air is practically oozing with magic! Our body is filled with magic! Magic is one of the pillars that held up the world, everything inexplainable, magic explains. Ha ha ha! This is wonderful! I forcefully charged my authority, my will, the conscious that survived even after death is not to be trifled with!

I gradually felt the magic obeying me, moving according to my dominance! And I opened my eyes to see that during the entirety of the magical confrontation, the world hadn't even moved a second ahead! I guess magic truly controls the length of what we see as time and space or else what I felt like minutes I used to take control would really be minutes in reality but its genuinely nothing.

I looked down as I adjust the flow of the magic to two directions, my left and my right, I let it be known to envelop a whole circular area in which Grindelwald's flames would be trapped in! Cracks extended from the bottom of the tip of my wand as red beams of light shone from beyond the crevices, from the depths of Earth herself!

The cracks went further around as the red beams grew higher and higher! "Finite!" I heard Leta cast as bright red light rayed to my eyes from my left as I nodded to Leta! A second later, more shouts of 'Finite!' was sounded throughout the entire cemetery as a barrier of red envelops the blue flaming threat inside!

I don't know about you but this sure as hell looks like the Four Red Yang Formation from the only anime I've ever watched, the only thing different is that said formation is a four people square formation while this one, there is obviously more than a measly four! The redness within the light turned into gold as the ground erupted!

Fire was spewed out with such bearing it launched into the air in a 90 degree radius as high as more than 20 meters tall and growing! Grindelwald's blue flame, desperate to escape such a deadly situation that it multiple sections of itself is morphed into what looked like a dragon that came out of hell itself!

The hellfire dragon has a face made out of burning skull, two menacing horns to pierce through its enemies body and two wings that whipped out fire wherever it went as well a tail that could swipe a skyscraper out of its place! It sure needs to be stopped, like what do you expect me to do, just let it go, even Newt wouldn't be loving enough to try and tame it under his briefcase.

Two of the split dragons tried to escape but ended up crashing and stumbling into our wall of fire, bouncing off. But one particular seemed to be more intelligent than others as it flew higher and ultimately out over the wall of orange to golden flames. But again, unfortunately someone at that side was ready to intercept by easily diverting the flames up and ctaching it before it could go further, killing it in an explosion as bright as day.

I don't know how the wards managed to blind the muggles this much, they can't even begin to know of the events happening here despite the night now being as shiny as when the sun is above the sky instead of the moon, all because of f*cking Gellert Grindelwald, Dumbledore should really choose a better love partner.

I mean seriously though, this is a pillar of flames might as wlel be reaching more than 50 meters in height on a hill in Paris, I just, I just, I just don't know man. Maybe over 200 years of Statute of Secrecy really perfected their way of hiding and sneaking around, all wizards and witches mught as well be perfected assassins, perfectly hiding in the 'dark'.

I was brought out of my thinking when a loud roar was getting nearer and nearer my location. I looked up and what a maddening sight. A dragon is scurrying in quick flaps towards the fire wall on my side, horned and head racing forward like a bull trying to break through a phalanx formation. But we all know, phalanx formations are invincible in battle unless the enemy flanks which won't happen in this case.

I used the wall of fire as spears and pierced my wand forward as the wall followed after, banging the giant dragon in the head and the chest as it flee away to try and attack another wall section! The other walls started to push into the circle as the dragons retreated to the center, aiming for a last attempt in this 'prison break'.

I pushed forward with my wand in emphasis as I manipulate the flames to do more! I struck upwards as I noticed the tree remaining dragons preparing for a high altitude flight out! I swirled my wand as the flames took after in braids. As if they were ropes the flames made a jarring move to entrap all the dragons at once.

Of course, I wasn't alone in this attempt as all those whom participated in the Finite casting transformed their own part of the flames into huge searing ropes. And with a downwards flick, the roped hop above the dragon and tied them down! The dragons roar in incompliance as I made a harsh gesture, dragging the dragons down to their graves, literally.

The dragons slowly ran out of effort and in one fell swoop, I stretched my wand and poof! The dragon were pushed into where they came from, destroying them for an eternity. All I can say was, that was so f*cking awesome! I wish I had a high definition camera to capture this fleeting moment of victory but all in all, it was extremely exhausting.

I felt like I had just ran through a 3 hour fitness sessions and I don't do fitness. It's like my body has ran out of sufficient energy from using way too much magic. I need to sit down for a slight moment relax. A few swoops of vibrations came behind me as I shifted my head to look at who it is. Let's play count.

One, Aria. Two, Theseus. Three, Newt. Four, Tina. Five, Credence. Six, Nagini. Seven, an extremely old man that doesn't look as weak as his ages says, Nicholas Flamel. Seven, Yusuf Kama who finally appeared after this long, where has he been for gracious sake! Theseus looked at Leta and Leta looked at him.

A step forward followed by a rush before they hugged in tears. "Don't do that ever again," Theseus sobbed, hugging Leta with all his life, that's romantic. "So, everything's over?" Newt asked with a relieved and tired expression showing desire to go home and have a long day of sleep. "You promised me my identity," Credence came forward with glaring questions.

I guess I had put this off long enough. "I don't suppose obscurials could receive inheritance tests?" I questioned Newt as he's the most knowledgeable in this subject. "Ehm... An obscurus would change a wizard's or witch's body structure, there's no blood, there's no flesh, only the mind, soul and magic remains, so no."

"Well, I could tell you who you are but sadly couldn't prove the answer to your question," even though I said that, Credence still nodded fervently, his eyes earnest to hear what I'm about to say and his ears are twitching and flapping with excitement, that's a lot of reactions. "Your name is Aurelius Dumbledore."

Silence. That's the best way to describe the situation. Wait, why isn't my mission complete notification popping up? No, don't say that something else will be coming to destroy Paris, I won't accept that!

{Mission : Fantastic Beasts : The Crimes of Grindelwald : Prevent the Destruction of Paris (Accomplished)}

Now there we go, I sneaked glances at Aria whom is focused at whatever's in front of her, looks like she too got the message. "Pardon?" Newt asked, breaking the silence. "I told it right, Aurelius Dumbledore, Grindelwald's weapon against Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore is his own kin, devious and smart."

"You mean, I'm related to Grindelwald's number one enemy?" Credence questioned for assurance, I've already repeated two times, the third is the last. "Yes you are Aurelius Dumb-el-dore, did you hear that right," a sudden sniffle sounded from the ground after I finished speaking, I looked down to find the most adorable thing.

It's like a platypus only with a smaller mouth and brighter black eyes with soft furry fur. It's a Niffler! "I got'cha," Newt softly said at the poor niffler, limping towards Newt, it must have been visually, mentally and physically tortured by seeing the flames around it. Newt gently picked him up and rubbed the fur on its back, it purred in delight and content. Aww... That's so cute!

Newt then noticed something below the niffler as he fished the item out. It's a small vial, a pretty vial with numerous silver engravings and crystal clear glass around it. It's shaped like a diamond but I sure know that that is no diamond. Inside the vial shows a glowing red substance as dark as blood but as vivid as the sun, Grindelwald's blood pact vial.

"Anyway, my time here is done," the clock is ticking for me, and I don't want to just disappear in front of everyone. "You haven't explained anything," Tina rebutted and everyone seem to forget about Credence in that moment and looked at me, I don't really need to explain anything, do I? "I'm on a rush, I'm supposed to be out by 6:30, kind of late now," What a wonderful excuse to bail out.

"I've not said my thanks for rescuing Leta," Theseus awkwardly stood in front of me with his right hand out. I shook his hand as he beamed, I did save the love of his life. "Err... It's been fine working with you," Newt rubbed his head and said out with gratitude. "It's been good with you as well," I smiled as I proceeded to walk away.

Tina looks unwilling to just let me go, Yusuf Kama isn't saying anything, Credence stayed silent but his eyes showed his appreciation towards me. I slowly strolled together with Aria and I grabbed my briefcase following me from the air towards my next departure. "When are we going to see you again!" Newt yelled down the staircase as I looked back.

"Are we friends?" I asked back with my lips faintly up. "Well, after what we've been through, we might as well be one," Newt replied, friends huh, I left my friends in the old world, and as they say "Good friends never say goodbye, they simply say 'See you soon'," and with that done, I shifted away as I walked towards the moonlight.

And as the second passes, so as the time we go, towards darkness and beyond, our soul goes.
