Crynn POV
"Real world phantom thief? Real world phantom thief! The real world phantom thief that stole all the Van Gogh Sunflowers, whether museum or private collection! That's you?!" Hah! Finally someone got it correct, not some anime thief, but real world thief! The Van Gogh Sunflowers were among my most famous heists, took me months for that.
Sadly though, it looks like the Van Gogh Sunflowers won't be showing themselves to the light any time soon or maybe in forever even. I hid it in a vault I constructed myself in the middle of the woods under a wooden cabin, there's a lot of security systems and traps. Honestly, no one is going to find it which is a shame, I should've written a will or something.
"You stole my aunt's Van Gogh Sunflower!" Calian shouted in anger with his finger pointing at me in accuse, what? Wait a second, Calian Otho Aurelius, Aurelius! "Your aunt is Julia Aurelius!" I spoke in surprise. Julia Aurelius is one of the few who owned a Van Gogh Sunflower privately and that means something.
Julia Aurelius is a total magnate, a powerful woman with an extreme love towards art, she will ultimately appear in any auction buying off any items she is interested in. From ancient Chinese porcelains, Bourbon Dynasty furniture, sculptures, paintings, anything that she considers beautiful works of art, she's there and she's out with the item. She is also a MET (Metropolitan Museum of Art) honorary director.
How do I know all this? Information is always required to successfully execute a heist. And unfortunately for her, she loves her Van Gogh Sunflower so much which broke her heart when I stole it. It was also the Van Gogh Sunflower I stole last because of difficulty and I had to stay hidden for the next few months in the wake of her raging bounties to regain back the painting, never succeeded though.
"Ahem, ahem, your aunt is a beloved woman, it's just that she has a painting I like so... Didn't they say that grudges should end when we die and you died so let's forget that," I coughed a few times in embarrassment that someone in the group actually has a relative whose painting got snatched away by me, this is shameful.
"My aunt was very sad after the... incident. Do you know how much art work we had to give to he to quell her depression?! We had to gift her a couple of Faberge Eggs, Raphael's Portrait of a Young Man and Rembrandt's Storm on the Sea of Galilee! Yes you heard me right! Portrait of a Young Man and Storm on the Sea of Galilee!" Calian screamed with both hands pulling his hair out.
But holy shit! I can't help but curse upon hearing what he just said! Raphael's Portrait of a Young Man and Rembrandt's Storm on the Sea of Galilee are two famous paintings lost in time. The former stolen by Nazi Germans in World War Two and the latter famously stolen in 1990 by a bunch of amateurs! How I know they're amateurs, because I personally stole the painting and multiple others from their hands to be sold to the black market!
Now Rembrandt's painting I can understand that the Aurelius Family might have obtained from less than legal sources but Raphael's work of art, I guess that's just luck! "Now calm down, calm down, we're here for cooperation not to relive past grudges and problems, after all the only one hasn't died yet among us is me so we can talk this out later or better yet, just not talk about it," Jill interjected, thank goodness gracious for that.
"Hmph!" Calian grumpily and rather immaturely huffed with crossed arms as we continued onwards. "Why don't we change our subject a bit, who here hasn't killed anyone before their first death in exception with Jill as she neither died nor have never killed anyone considering her military and police history."
"Nay," I answered and Aria also answered the same. "And how is your first thoughts on killing? I also firstly murdered someone after I died, it isn't very nice, I was a bit depressed but after a while in the Kingsman World, I eventually became used to it," used to killing, quite a strong description but I won't object because used to killing is something that many have already experienced.
"I'm actually just fine, shot a couple wizards and witches on their heads, killing them instantly. I'm guessing why I could be so normal is because I already often watch gory videos or movies and blood doesn't really faze me anymore though first time killing does unlock something within you in which you don't even know you have. That something, I don't even know," wow applause, I'm out of words so to speak, even Calian is shocked.
"As the Phantom Thief, seeing injuries and blood is a normal occurrence in my job, so killing doesn't have much of a difference except that you'd still may be alive with injuries but you'll die when you die," there done, is it just me or is this camp a bit empty, no one else is going our way but the gunshots are still heavy in the air.
"Ellos estan aqui (They're here)!" A guy at long last showed up, yelling in Spanish as two more of his friends came from behind a tent. This guy made quite a huge mistake that is unforgivable. Telling others that we are here is completely okay, what is not okay is the way he stopped mid road. Anyone sane and smart enough would know to shoot while telling others that someone is here!
Needless to say, Calian got it all under control. He swiftly raised and shot three bullets at three heads, simply they died. "What a bunch of stupid buffoons," I shouldn't mock them but I did anyway, still though, rest in peace. "What happened to try not to kill?" Jill asked with a harmless smile.
"They caught me by surprise," good answer.
