Going Back to Convoy Camp

Crynn POV

"Why am I still thinking about that, that was unbelievable," I declared while remembering the account of when Calian was called out by the guards for no apparent reason other than to have the shortest staring contest in history. "That was funny," Jill chuckled in humor, by the way, that terrified first rather than hilarity.

I'm not in the mood to conduct a gunfight then, nor am I very ready to. "Looks like my bag is as scan-proof as I thought, I was quite surprised when the guard approached me but I kept a bold and confident posture far greater than that petty man," that playful arrogance is unnecessary yet does prove a point, the guard did seem like he backed off in the last second there, should practice on the bravery.

"Right, I'll call Mitch to pick us up, why don't you guys wait for a second," Aria said as we got out of the mine elevator. Oddly enough, no one seemed to have noticed that there is something different down in the subways today, difference being that there is a giant gaping hole on the side of the walls, a hole that lead to an abandoned mineshaft.

"That was a very successful mission everyone," Aria stated cheerfully, I'm pretty happy as well, it went as smoothly as I never thought it would. Truthfully, my expectations for the accomplishment of this task is at a low but turns out, Militech has such a bad awareness, maybe it's because it's a time of peace and everyone loves it too much they lose their sense of guard.

"I anticipated more for the mission," Calian spoke, yeah me too. "So, Mitch is going to arrive any minute," V shouted from the distance, waving her hands, she is quite a warm girl but she can really kill, beautifully as well. "Right then, waiting time ensues," Jill shrugged as she leaned on the metal fence, as she said, waiting time... 3 minutes later...

"Aren't you guys ever hot, do you know how high the temperatures are today?" V is very incredulous at what we're wearing as I saw Mitch's truck over the desert. "I'm used to it, I commonly do day raids on drug lords and mafia bosses," badass, there's a reason why people don't piss off drug lords or mafia bosses, because of connections, connections and connections.

But from what is said and explained to me by Aria, Jill's boss, Albert Wesker is also a man with a higher form of connection than I presume, even drug lords and mafia bosses so that might be why she can easily raid such people of illegally high standing. "This is a special suit sewed elegantly and expertly by the finest tailor with a fitted air conditioning system, keeping me cool at even the highest temperature possible by nature," Kingsman crafted, I'm jealous, but not so jealous, because...

"I and Aria's clothing can adjust to any temperature, cool when hot and warm when cold, secondly, bulletproof, a commodity necessary for any of our missions," of course, the most essential part is the bulletproof feature that would save me a thousand times by a few other times. "All of us is bulletproof though it'll still hurt if we're shot," Calian made a point I can't yet prove because I've never been shot with this outfit on and am not planning to try the experience anytime soon.

"Oh look, Mitch finally arrived," the truck stopped a few meters in front of us as we entered the truck, sat ourselves comfortably on this messily decorated car. "So, plan went well?" He greeted us immediately with a question. "It went very well, so well, we walked around the place like we owned it," V answered with a laugh.

"No guard bots to stop you? No cameras caught you?" Additional curiosity coming from him. "The Security Command Center was just right around the corner of the storage and do you know what's the worst thing for Militech, their security guards are complete shit. We entered the room with the door opening loudly and nobody even bothered to turn their heads around."

"I don't think they're even too preoccupied on their computers. Suffice to say, there are ten of them, 5 of us, we easily took 2 each, got rid of a separate group of netrunners, turned the cameras off, wiped the recordings, and disabled the Goddamn robots. It was smooth sailing after that, clear seas, no storms," V already told everything Mitch needed to know, really.

"Oh really? Militech shouldn't be so easy, do the guards not even put up much of a fight?" I don't think they even had a chance, we had the perfect element of surprise. Especially since I instantly flashed over and cut two straight lines over the surface of their necks. "They did not have time to react, so no, they aren't at guard at all."

"I guess it's because no one ahs ever sneaked into the Internal Sections before. I reckon the front guards are all on alert because that's where the spies love to try and go in though none have succeeded so far with the total majority already been neutralized on the borders before they could even step one foot into the city."

"So, how do you feel. Infiltrating two mega-corporations is a feat beyond the skies," well, we asked already but I can hear it again. "I've been asked a few moments but if I have to say it again, it's wonderful, thrilling even though Militech is not as guns blazing as Arasaka, it is a big pride for me to be able to do such a thing twice now."

Well, looks like you'll not just be doing this twice, but also thrice because, let me read again... Right, enter the United Corporations Union database vault. Now this should be much more of a challenge, actually scratch that, from the name alone, I can safely presume that this will be hard. And it has something to do with a submarine by the image in the scanner.

We'll just have to see later, after we are back at the convoy camp.
