Music Infusion

Crynn POV

Okay, more than 20 minutes have passed and I'm slowly losing my mind. It has been 20 minutes! 20 minutes of claw game tries! AND ARIA HASN'T WON ONCE!!! ONCE!!! "Maybe you can just leave this to me..." My temple turned black in gloom as Aria totally ignored to press start once more for another try.

"Just once more, I can do this, I'm an Olympic bow champion, I can do this!" That's the 30th time you said the same thing, and that voice is starting to waver in uncertainty each one after the other. "Who cares if you're an Olympic bow champion, experience in handling a bow is different from the experience in playing the claw machine!"

I reasoned with her but she only huffed and lowered the claw. Oh? "It caught it! It caught it!" Aria excitedly pointed at the ball 'trapped' in the claw's arms. "Or not," as I said that, the ball slipped through and fell to the pile. "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" Aria wailed lying a dying banshee, damn how many octaves is that?!

"Okay, okay, give me your hand," I decided to finally just interject myself in because this is getting ridiculous. I moved behind Aria, wrapping my hand around her waist as I placed my two hands on hers. "W-What are you doing?" Aria whispered, a faint blush set on her cheeks, cute, but that's not the point.

"I'm going to lend you a hand, or two," I said as I applied pressure on the left, pushing the button with my hand as does hers. "So game starts, don't need to be so 'shifty', so to speak. Arcade devices such as this claw machine needs patience and minimal dedication. You can't expect to get anything if you're not pushing your own determination in and of course, determination with dedicated effort."

"Not simply putting the claw above something and just hope because if you did that then the percentage of chance to even successfully put anything into the claw's grasp is miniscule," I explained as I moved the claw, commanding her hand. "See, there's no need for haste, nothing is waiting for you, you're free."

"Now we stop and survey, see if the claw is already where you wish it to be, is it?" I turned to ask her as she looked up and down the claw and the balls. "Yes," good, I pressed down on her hand once more to the button as the claw started to drop and as expected, got one of the balls in it, that won't escape any time soon.

"Hehehe... Looks like I might need to remember to be patient, or maybe more of your hands," Aria sheepishly laughed while glaring at the claw machine hotly. "Well, see what you get," I said to her as she excitedly stretched her hand into the machine and pulled out the ball we got. "Right, hoping for something good!"

The ball popped as a bright shine blinded my eyes for a second's moment. The light, it isn't orange, it's silver! Pure silver! "Never gotten a silver before, must be higher than orange," now I'm a bit jealous but what can I do. When luck becomes a factor, no ability shall be decided upon it. "Oh, this is... suitable," eh... what?

Aria shared me the information pertaining what she got which looks like a documentary written by some guy named Parvin Ustran. it's front cover consisted of musical notes and different instruments together with it as well as being plated with short streaks of golden leaves which makes it look so much more valuable looking.
