To love is sometimes to let go - CH. 28

"Cause you only need the light when it's burning low, only miss the sun when it starts to snow,

only know you love her when you let her go. Only know you've been high when you're feeling low, only hate the road when you're missing home, only know you love her when you let her go.

And you let her go." - Passenger

The darkness that wrapped itself around this place was somewhat darker than usual. The room was filled with roaring noises from intoxicated drunks. The atmosphere was dominated by loud voices, shouting to one another to either stop or enter a conversation. The crowd was young, most of them were freshmen at university, and this bar made them forget and misbehave in ways that would make them feel ashamed the next day on.

I was electrified by the smoke. I finished my drink and felt the satisfying burning in the back of my throat. The liquor intoxicated my body in the usual comforting way.
