Chapter 20: Tier 1 Normal Dungeon part VI

The monster that surprised attack Lindo was a Wolf, but not the kind of wolf that they encountered at the first stage.

This wolf's color was not white but red like blood, they also have a horn on their forehead that can skewer a human. 

Sona, looking at the monster that suddenly appeared like they were waiting for them to relax, realized how dangerous this pack of wolves was.

If it's waiting to ambush them, it indicates that there Is a double Alphas that control this group.

She understands that if they don't finish the monster fast, it will exhaust her team and the next stage will become more difficult to clear.

Sona has the ability of healing, she can restore the condition of a person that was very exhausted to their peak strength which is a strong ability especially in battles.

But due to its limits, she can only cast it once a time per hour so she just utilizes it for an emergency. But it's not just her capabilities since she didn't become a B rank Gifter with just her ability. She also has different kinds of skills for buff and debuff that she learned from skill books that were found in the dungeon.

After Sona muttered her buff skill, a blue light surrounded everyone even the two porters also received their buff.

Sona [Perseverance] skill is a strengthening buff skill that can increase her ally's strength and relieve some tension in the target with an allotted time. 

It has a two minutes time limit before the effects disappear. And also five minutes to be cast again. It's not long effects but it's also not short because for an expert every second was precious in a fight, so having two minutes was enough.

When everyone feels the surging strength from being buffed they all also make their moves.

Lindo who was at the rear who felt the effects of the buff especially when his fear from earlier faded, he already made his move and killed the Red Wolves that were attacking Balt, and also those who were ready to sneak attack using his Ability [Accelerated Vision].

His [Accelerated Vision] can make him see what was normally seen faster become slower that made him a perfect sniper. It's only downside was his stamina that can be restored slowly so technically it's a good skill to have.

Pitt and Katherine also engage the Red Wolves, the two focused on the red wolves that were near them while being cautioned about those sneaky red wolves that attack when they give an opening.

Not only do their enemies have double the number from the first stage but they also have a speed that outclasses the first stage which made killing all of them difficult but not impossible.

Pitt and Katherine can't move carelessly because with one wrong move, many red wolves waiting to enter their formation will kill the three inside their formation, so killing the Red wolves takes time for the Time being. 

Five minutes passed like a wind. Out of a hundred Red Wolves, only 30 remained. Lindo who was a sniper almost killed half of the monster that was slain, he had a wide choice and was not restricted so killing so many monsters was not strange. Unlike the two that can't move far from their place.

Even if the buff was long gone it didn't hinder their killing spree. It just made their killing slower but overall it didn't affect them.

People who didn't feel any tension were Ian and the porter girl since they were merely spectating the fight. They are in the middle of the triangle formation with Sona. Being Balt on the front with Pitt and Katherine on left and right and Lindo at the back.

Ian was already clenching his fist from excitement seeing them fight the red wolf. His blood as a soldier was already boiling from excitement seeing the vicious red wolves. 

But suddenly his increased awareness made him sense something dangerous coming, and he also felt someone was watching him from somewhere and it's not from a human since the stare also carries a bloodthirsty from a monster. It's like a tiger waiting to kill its prey.

Ian instantly became alerted and summoned his pistol, it appeared on his hand. It materialized from nothing that surprised the porter girl who was near Ian.

She didn't know how suddenly a pistol materialized but she thought of it as his Ability and didn't think about it anymore, she was just startled.

Ian who still felt the gaze coming from unknown enemies suddenly saw the biggest wolf he had ever seen in his life, an enormous Redwolf that had a height of 3 ft, and a length of two meters suddenly appeared that made all of them stop from fighting. 

'It's the Boss' Ian though.

Just the presence alone made him identify the Massive red wolves. The porter girl was shaking from fear when she felt the monster aura that resembled death for her. Ian was also shaken but didn't tremble like the porter girl. 

He was a former soldier that faced many battlefields that are also filled with blood and death so he was not trembling like the porter girl.

Does he feel feared? Of course, he is, he feels fear because who won't, he was just a normal human being and not Superman. He comes from a world that only has firearms as a means to kill, the powerful weapon their world can be utilized is a nuke, but compared to this world a nuke was nothing for a true powerhouse so it's a natural reaction seeing the boss aura of a second-floor from a first-tier normal Dungeon.

But rather of feeling discouraged, he was rather excited to test his power on this monster. He was excited to experiment with how strong his ability is after being upgraded.

Recognizing the Boss of the floor, Balt, Pitt, and Katherine finally change their formation. The former triangle was gone and became a T-shape formation with the three at the front.

Sona was already chanting her second Spell Skill the moment she saw the Alpha coming out from its hiding place.

The four of them were B-rank Gifters that raided higher Level Portals so the boss monster didn't faze them but it didn't mean that they can be complacent since a mistake can easily kill them.

Sona who was waiting for something to emerge immediately cast her skills continuously when she feels the killing intents coming from her back that it also overlaps with Ian Ability.
