Chapter 21: Tier 1 Normal Dungeon part VII

Ian looked at the Massive Redwolf that was in front of him, he carefully observed it and realized that it's not the monster that he senses earlier.

He also feels the bloodthirst coming from the boss but it's not directed at him but the three at the front. 

He knows that it's also a red wolf ready to pounce at him but didn't know why since there are other people here.

What Ian didn't know was because of the Red Wolf's instinct and a strong sense of smell, they recognized how dangerous he is, that's why they're targeting him.

With Ian Ability free from its Limitations it's not exaggerated to say that he is at the cap of being an S rank Gifters. The only problem was his control and stamina for maintaining his power usage which can be achieved through training and continuous use of his power.

But he didn't know it since he was still new to this World so he was left baffled.

Ian Looked at his surroundings trying to find where the stare was coming, he looked at his back where Lindo was standing focused on the enemy in front with his eye on the scope of his sniper

And suddenly saw a pair of Red Eyes that were in the bush. Ian was startled but was also the thing hiding there.

Seeing that the prey it's stalking already notices it, the monster releases its killing intent and furiously sprints where Ian stands.

Ian was stunned but that's all, he felt the killing intent of the red wolves but it didn't hinder his thought of action. 

"[Snar£] [P£rs£v£ran£]"

Ian who cast his Ability to the rushing monster heard Sona's voice, he also felt his body getting stronger. He didn't expect the timing of Sona's skills to coincide with his.

Sona skill [Snare] made the rushing Redwolfe to stop on its track. The skill she cast was a debuff that can make her target stop moving for a limited time.

The Red Wolf that had two horns on its head was stunned by the sudden skill. It wants to roar but only a whimper comes out from its mouth due to the sudden increase of gravity on its body.

It didn't know why but its body started getting heavier at the Sametime the stunning spell hit it. And it's still getting heavier as the time flows.

He looks at the red wolf that is now crouching on the ground enduring the weight it's receiving, every second the body of the red wolf gets lower and lower until its body is on the ground.

Ian finally halts, making the gravity of the red wolf remain x10. He saw fissures forming around the body of the Wolf that made him know how powerful his ability Is.

He can maintain his ability longer now when he receives the buff for five minutes straight, unlike his previous state that can only be used for a minute or two with ten times the gravity.

The group was surprised when they saw the two horns red wolf conditions, they didn't think Sona had a skill like that. And the person they thought was her skill was the most astounded, she cast two skills at the same time but it's just a buff and debuff. she knows that it's not her work.

She looks at Ian who was looking at the Defeated Monster, she didn't know how but she knows that it's him. When she cast the spell she also saw him raise his hand at the same time she cast it. 

And it's also the time when the monster bends its body as if something heavy suddenly envelops it. She also saw a beautiful-looking Pistol which she didn't know where it came from since when they entered Ian didn't have any weapon on his body except for the folding knife. 

She wants to ask but she knows that it's not the time for that when she heard the roar of the Massive Red Wolf at their front.

"AWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH~"

An enraged howl was heard inside the forest. Forest trees sway left and right from how strong the cry was. Leaves fall off their trees, leaving their home.

The three become serious. Lindo at the back already killed the smaller red wolves on the back of the Alpha to make their number lesser.

The Alpha rush with its mouth wide open ready to swallow Balt who was at the front lines. 

The alpha red wolf was raging from resentment when it saw its partner being played by humans. 

Due to rage, it's little intelligence was clouded and only relied on its instinct. It leads its pack to massacre the human in front of them.

Balt, who saw the Alpha rushing at him, uses his Skill called [Unbreakable]; A form of Rectangular Ice formed In front of his shield, and bash it at the coming alpha. 

He also uses his skill [ Glacial Fissure ] and slams the ground with his shield knocking up the smaller monster nearby and in line in front of him. A fissure appeared along the line that froze the monsters and also the alpha who bounced from earlier clashes.

Pitt and Katherine also move when they see the frozen Alpha. They know that it didn't kill the boss, only cage it for a few seconds so they kill all the remaining red wolves that are still alive while their leader is stunned. And all of it happened in a few seconds after the alpha rush.

Ian raised his Pistol and aimed it at the struggling Redwolf that he pinned on the earth. Every second, the weight loosens on the red wolf body. He didn't think that this monster was so strong. If not for the buff then for sure it's already on the loose.

His ability was not gravity that can make the surrounding or object change its mass or weight permanently. His ability is called [Weight Changer] and the application of its power is just changing its weight to being heavier or lighter so the monster can resist his ability.

So being a newbie he is. The control for his power was being negated by constant resistance from the red wolf. And also the Red Wolf that he captured was not just a normal monster since it's the partner of the alpha. Its strength was also the same as the alpha who was being fought by three B rank Gifter with a buff.
