The class was as usual, full of students loud chatter due to the absence of their teacher.
While the first period had passed, it was already Mr. Dickson's class. He walked in quietly, causing the whole class to be dead silent while the students ran off to sit on their original seats.
Mr. Dickson put down all of his belongings on his desk and greeted everyone in the class. He wasted no time and announced that there was going to be a festival held in school right after they have their midterm exam.
The students started cheering at the news, all very excited and were smiling in anticipation.
Mr. Dickson calmed his students down and reminded them that they have a midterm coming in a week. Mr. Dickson smiled as his all of his students complained including Charlie and Evelyn.
Mr. Dickson clapped his hands twice to get the students' attention and ordered them to open their textbook indicating that their class had begun. When he noticed that all of the students were ready, he started teaching as usual like any other day.
About half an hour before the second-period ends, Mr. Dickson gave his students time to think of what they're going to do at the festival.
The students started walking towards their friends to discuss. The majority of them decided that they should have a mini arcade instead of the normal food stall etc. However, there were a few students that disagreed on it.
The negotiation continued and at last, they all decided that they would split up into two different groups. Mr. Dickson helped them organized the group and had created team 1 and team 2.
Team 1 will be preparing a mini arcade while Team 2 would be preparing a convenience store. Charlie, Evelyn and their friends were put in team 1. Both of the teams continued discussing about their activities.
It was then lunchtime and all of the students stopped their argumentation to tidy up their table and went to the cafeteria. Brian and Harry had invited Charlie to go eat with them.
While walking in the cafeteria, they came across Rebecca and Evelyn. They were both sitting on the same table together. Considering that all of the other tables were occupied already, the boys decided to eat on the same table as them.
Suddenly, Hana, from the same team came up to greet them all. "Hey, can I join you guys?" She asked shyly.
"Sure!" Rebecca said, almost immediately.
The atmosphere was quiet as they were all enjoying their own lunch when Hana started.
"Don't you guys think this whole mini arcade thing is a bit of a nuisance?" She said, taking a bite out of her sandwich.
They all stopped their eating to process her words. They fixed their attention to Hana.
"What do you mean?" asked Harry.
"I mean, the mini arcade itself is already hard to prepare and it even costs a lot," explained Hana, fidgeting with her food.
"To be honest, I thought the same too," Evelyn blurted out after swallowing her last bite.
They all nodded, agreeing in Hana's point.
"So, what's your plan?" Asked Brian to Hana.
"Hm, what if we make a food stall? From there, we can earn money! And it's fun too," Hana suggested confidently.
"That's a great idea! But, what are we gonna sell?" Harry asked.
"We can sell waffles! And you Harry, you can organize tasks for each person since you're the class president," Hana said, smiling.
Harry laughed a little at Hana's cuteness. He then proceeded to give each of them their own task.
Charlie, Brian and Evelyn were given the task to make the waffles while the others had to decorate the stall and sell the waffles.
Charlie almost choked because his name was suddenly called out by Harry while he was eating. Evelyn was happy with the given tasks. They were all excited to participate the festival.
