Uncle William

"Uncle William," Charlie murmured under his breath after the man turned around, revealing his identity. Charlie's jaw dropped after realizing that the man before him was his uncle, which also means that he's Granny Nancy's son-in-law. Granny Nancy was a bit shocked when Charlie suddenly appeared in the bakery. The old woman was worried because she knew well how much hatred Charlie had towards his uncle, William. Based on the expression that Charlie had on his face, Granny Nancy could tell that he was holding back his anger and sadness after seeing William.

"Listen here. You better get out of here this instant! I can still take good care of Charlie!" The old woman yelled, trying to get William away from her bakery. She didn't want to see her only grandchild be sad so she did everything that she could to make William stay far away from her and Charlie. However, William didn't budge an inch after hearing Granny Nancy's words. Instead, he smirked and walked closer towards Charlie.

"Oh my beloved nephew, you look handsome now that you've grown up," William said, reaching out his hand to caress Charlie on his head. Unfortunately, that was unsuccessful when Charlie slapped his hand away before it got any closer towards his head.

"What do you want here?! You've already took everything that my parents had. Is that not enough for you?!" Charlie yelled his heart out. His face had turned red, caused by his contained anger. He let out all of the rage inside his heart all at once by yelling at his Uncle's face.

"Woah, you dare rebel against me? Did your beloved grandmother taught you that?" William shamelessly said, his eyes pierced towards Granny Nancy, insulting the old woman. Charlie gritted his teeth, his heart overflowing with never-ending anger. Granny Nancy contained herself, trying not to make the situation more chaotic than it already was.

"What a waste of time. I was just visiting you people yet none of you even appreciate my effort. Whatever, I'll go now. Hopefully we'll meet again soon," he said, the smirk never leaving his face. He walked out of the bakery with an innocent face as if he did nothing wrong.

"Hopefully I'll never have to meet you again, you bastard!" Charlie once again yelled his anger out to the man in front of the door. Granny Nancy was taken aback after witnessing how angry Charlie was. She immediately walked towards the raging child and hugged him, attempting to calm him down.

"It's okay, Charlie. I'll always take care of you no matter what," Granny Nancy whispered, gently caressing him on the head. Charlie returned her hug, finally calming down a bit. His anger progressively disappeared, thanks to the old woman's hug. After a few seconds passed, Charlie let go of the hug, looking tired as ever.

"I'll go change my clothes now," he quietly said, walking towards the staff room to go change his clothes. Granny Nancy nodded her head, watching her grandchild lovingly as she thought about his well being.

In the staff room~

"How did he know that I live here?" Charlie thought to himself, worried.

Evelyn finally arrived at the intersection of her house after she had just spent her time with Charlie at the city. Suddenly, her phone rang indicating that she had received a call from someone. She quickly reached for her phone in her pocket. She looked at the caller ID which displayed "Mrs. Keira", her aunt. She immediately tapped on the green button.

"Hi aunty. Why did you called me all of the sudden?" Evelyn questioned, weirded out as to why her aunt had called her. Usually, she would only call Evelyn for important matter.

"Lyn, can you help me for a bit?" Her aunt asked, her voice sounding rather restless.

"With what?" Evelyn asked back, curious. She felt uneasy all of the sudden.

"I have to go outstation for a week. I know Kevin can take care of himself alone in the house but he suddenly got a fever. He was just fine yesterday. Can you look after him until he recovers while I'm out?" She explained herself to Evelyn. Evelyn could tell from her voice that she was very worried about her son's health. However, Evelyn was taken aback after hearing Mrs. Keira's request.

"No wonder I felt uneasy just now," she thought, finally figuring out herself. Evelyn remembered all of the things that Mrs. Keira had done for her. She thought less and immediately agreed to help out her aunt.

"Sure, why not?" Evelyn said. She had no choice but to help her aunt because she felt grateful of all the things that Mrs. Keira had helped her on. Although her aunt's request was a bit of a burden for her, she accepted anyway.

"Thank you, Lyn! I've listed all of the things that you need to do. And don't worry, your reward is on the dining table along with the list. I'm already late so I'll get going now. I'm counting on you! Bye Lynn," said Mrs. Keira before ending the call. Evelyn sighed and ran towards her house to pack her bag. An hour passed, she had finally packed up all of her needed belongings to bring to Mrs. Keira's house. Before she walked out of the house, Evelyn realized that her father was still in his bedroom.

"Dad," she called for her father while knocking on his door. However, she received no answer whatsoever. She then sighed out of frustration.

"Dad, I have to go to Aunty Keira's house. I'll be staying there for a while to take care of Kevin until he recovers because he got a fever. Take care of yourself dad," she continued. Once again, no sound was made inside of the room. After receiving no answer, Evelyn decided to just walk out of the house and went straight towards Mrs. Keira's house. Mr. Miller who was still in his bedroom, looked at Evelyn through his room window as she made her way towards her aunt's house. After a few minutes of walking, Evelyn changed her mind and decided to go there with a taxi instead because she got tired of walking. 10 minutes passed and she had finally reached Kevin's house. Evelyn paid the taxi driver and took out her bags from the vehicle.

In front of Kevin's house~

"Dang it, why did she left her gate locked?" She looked at the gate in frustration. She then pressed onto the doorbell.

"Hello, Kevin?!" Evelyn yelled but no one answered. Suddenly, the gate opened by itself automatically. She then saw Kevin walking towards her after the gate had fully opened. His face looked paler than normal and his walking was unstable.

"Oh my gosh, Kevin! Are you okay?" Evelyn asked, worried after witnessing her cousin in that state.

"I'm o..kay," Kevin murmured when all of the sudden, he almost fell to the ground. Evelyn grabbed onto him before he could land on the floor.

"Sigh, you should've just opened the door for me and I'll go inside on my own! You didn't have to welcome me. Now you've only became a burden to me!" Evelyn scolded him, even though deep in her heart, she was very worried at how weak he looked. Evelyn shook her head in disbelief before dragging him inside of that mansion of his. Without her realizing, Kevin was blushing after he realized how caring she was towards his well being.
