Fever Part 2

"Burppp!" the nasty sound came from Kevin's mouth after he had finished his bowl of porridge that was kindly served by Evelyn. Meanwhile, Evelyn who was sitting right in front of Kevin, had also just finished her own bowl. She looked at Kevin with a disgusted expression displayed on her face.

"Ew, you're so gross," Evelyn commented while standing up from her chair to bring her and Kevin's bowl over to the sink to wash it.

"It's been so long since I've had tasty food like this. Thank you Lyn," Kevin complimented with a cute voice on while trying to display an adorable face for Evelyn to see. Evelyn once again gave him a disgusted face after having to witness his weird behaviour that night.

"Maybe it's a sick person behaviour," Evelyn convinced herself. She then placed the bowls inside the sink and made her way closer towards Kevin. Kevin seemed to panic after realizing that Evelyn was coming closer to him.

"HEY, HEY WHAT DO YOU WANT FROM ME—" his words were cut off once he felt Evelyn's left hand landed on his forehead. He then realized that Evelyn was just trying to check if his temperature had worsen or not. Evelyn pulled her hand back after she was done checking his temperature. Kevin felt so embarrassed that his face went red in an instant.

"Hmm, you're forehead isn't even that hot but your face is all red. You're so weird," she tittered while shaking her head in disbelief. She then made her way back to the sink to continue washing the dishes that she had left it there. Kevin's face didn't stop reddening after Evelyn had pointed out the change of colour on his face. Plus, his cheeks had also started to heat up.

"By the way Kevin, don't forget to eat the medicine. It's on the table," Evelyn reminded while her hands was busy washing the dishes. Kevin immediately looked at the medicine that was sitting on the table and grabbed it. He then put it inside his mouth and gulped down the glass of water along with the medicine. Suddenly, the kitchen went silent. The only thing that could be heard was water running from the faucet into the sink. After Kevin had finished with his medicine, he stood up from his chair and said something to Evelyn.

"Lyn, never get close to me so suddenly like that ever again," Kevin said with a serious expression on his face. He then walked towards the stairs to go back to his room. Evelyn was a bit shocked after hearing his words. She stopped washing the dishes and realized what she had just did to Kevin. But her intention was only to check on his fever and nothing else. She thought that maybe Kevin had misunderstood her.

"No wonder he panicked," Evelyn thought to herself as she started to feel embarrassed to the point that even her face went red.

"How did I not noticed that?" She face palmed herself as she questioned her action.

On the second floor, in an old building~

The atmosphere was chaotic, caused by a fight.

"OI NOAH," Luna greeted after she had reached the second floor of the abandoned building. Her voice was loud and anger was the only thing written all over her small pretty face. She walked straight towards Noah in a fast pace and then grabbed onto his collar aggresively.

"Ouch, let me go! What's your problem?!" Noah snapped after he was grabbed by Luna. He then pushed Luna away from him so that her hand would accidentally let go of his collar. Her hand finally left his collar in a harsh manner and her body backed off a bit after getting pushed by him. Luna slipped her hand into her pocket and pulled out her phone. She proceeded to open her gallery and showed Noah a picture. It was a picture of Charlie and Evelyn together.

"Huh?! You told me that you've warned Charlie already? But what is this?! He's still with that dumb Evelyn! They even went on a date together," Luna yelled in anger while pushing Noah's shoulder roughly that his whole body was pushed back. She was releasing all of her growing anger at Noah. Noah's eyes were glued to the picture as he listened to Luna's words. He became furious.

"What?! They went out alone together?! That nerd got some guts," he said. His heart was boiling in anger after witnessing the picture. He was so jealous that his face reddened from anger.

"Wait, so you didn't know? How dumb can you be?!" Luna questioned aggresively. Noah then shook his head as a response.

"Hehe, I just knew. Sorry bro, I was busy," he said with an unbothered expression plastered on his face. His words along with his expression had made Luna rage. She walked up to him and tightly grabbed onto his arms harshly. Noah hissed in pain but that didn't stop her.

"Listen here, you dumb rat! I paid you for this! Do your work damn it! And also, do you see my face? Do you think I care that you're busy?! " Luna yelled at Noah's face, feeling so betrayed. She then let go of his arms after she was done raging at him.

"You better not make me do this own my own. It'll get real ugly if I'm doing this myself. I'll even beat Evelyn up if I have to. This is a warning for you!" Luna cautioned, smirking at Noah. After she was done, she immediately made her way out of the building, leaving Noah behind. Noah could only watched as Luna walked away from him. He started to feel the need to get revenge on her.

"Just you wait, Luna. How dare you threatened me like that," Noah murmured to himself, smirking as an evil plan popped up in his head.

At Charlie's house~

It seemed that Charlie had went to sleep calmly. But suddenly, he screamed on top of his lungs.

"No, no no. I don't wanna follow you! I DON'T!" he yelled then he woke up from his slumber. His body was sweating as it turned out that he had a nightmare. A really bad one for him. He seemed frightened as he thought back of the nightmare he had just experienced.

"Why did he appear again? Is this a sign?" He sighed as he thought to himself, anxiously. That night, Charlie couldn't sleep well because of the nightmare he just had.
