In the disciplinary office~
"Sir, they're here," the student said to Mr. Zachery.
"Alright, you can go back to class now," Mr. Zachery said. The student wasted no time and walked back to his class like normal. Meanwhile, Kevin and Luna walked into the room, following Mr. Zachery's instruction.
"Sit down," Mr. Zachery said, making them both sit down on the seats that was provided.
Kevin's face showed nothing but fear while Luna, who was sitting beside him, looked rather calm. The two of them were facing their school discipline teacher, Mr. Zachery.
Mr. Zachery's height was 177cm and he was 46 years old. He's a disciplinary teacher in the school and was very well known for his strict personality. He was also feared by the students for his grumpy face. He had a very loud and clear voice. He's overall a very well collected man.
The atmosphere was dead silence until Mr. Zachery spoke.
"So, is it true that you saw Kevin helped Evelyn skip school today?" The man asked Luna. The innocent girl gave Mr. Zachery a fake smile before speaking up to answer his question.
"Yes sir, I'm not lying at all. I saw Kevin followed Evelyn to the back of the school with my own two eyes," Luna said while attempting to look genuine. Mr. Zachery instantly averted his attention towards Kevin after hearing Luna's explanation. Kevin looked even more tensed up when he realized that the man's eyes had landed on him. Mr. Zachery tried to process Luna's words and he was becoming more trusting in her.
"Hm alright, I believe what you had just stated is accurate," the man said, believing what Luna had said to him. He was sure that Luna wasn't lying to him when he saw how scared Kevin was as if he really did something wrong. Kevin was shocked when he heard what Mr. Zachery said. He wanted to protest but he also didn't want to make eye contact with the fierce teacher so he had no choice but to look down at his feet and kept quiet.
"So, Kevin Blythe. Explain to me what was the reason for Evelyn to skip school," Mr. Zachery strictly asked. Kevin was taken aback by the man's question. He felt so anxious to even answer him and in the end, he continued to silence himself with his head hung low. On the other hand, Mr. Zachery, who had been watching Kevin the whole time, didn't want to waste any more time so he decided to take firm action so that the matter of skipping school would not happen again.
"You have nothing to say huh? That's fine. A warning letter will be sent to you today," the man calmly said. It seemed to be his final decision on the situation. Mr. Zachery's words continued to surprise Kevin, making him instantly stood up from his seat out of reaction. Meanwhile, Luna was also surprised but smirked when she realized that her plan was working.
"But, sir—" Kevin finally spoke but immediately got cut off by Mr. Zachery.
"The discipline session is over. You two may now go back to your classroom," Mr. Zachery instructed before standing up and walked out of the office to go back to his classroom to continue his teaching. Kevin realized he couldn't stop Mr. Zachery, causing him to heave a heavy sigh.
"Way to go Kev," he thought to himself. He then dragged his feet out of the office, leaving Luna behind. Meanwhile, the girl felt satisfied that her plan had worked smoothly. She waited for Kevin to walk far enough before letting out an evil laugh. She felt so fortunate to be able to witness Evelyn's guilt.
"If only this could've made her lose her position right now.. That'd be amazing," Luna smiled at her own thought before walking out of the office and straight towards her classroom. Her mind was filled with the thought of Evelyn losing her position and it made her smile evilly.

At the bakery~
Evelyn was busy finishing her homework while drinking her chocolate frappe. She seemed so focused on doing her homework while Charlie, who had just woken up from his slumber, still looked sleepy. He watched as Evelyn focused on the books in front of her. Evelyn realized that she was being watched by Charlie so she stopped doing her homework. She then slammed the table out of nowhere, causing Charlie to startle.
"Hey, Char! Stop daydreaming. Here's a list of today's homework," Evelyn said while handing him a piece of paper which contained a list of homework that Evelyn had written while Charlie was still sleeping. Charlie who was once sleepy went full awake. He then grabbed the piece of paper from Evelyn.
"Thank you," he quietly thanked her. Evelyn nodded her head as a response before continuing on doing her homework. She seemed to be so focused on her books again.
Charlie looked at the small piece of note that Evelyn had gave him. It contained a list of their homeworks for that day. It seemed like they were given a lot of homeworks by the teacher. Not long after that, Charlie spoke.
"But then again, since you skipped school before lunchtime, there must be tons of homeworks I have to finish. Looks like I'm gonna have to go full-on owl mode tonight," Charlie sighed, causing Evelyn to also sigh. She realized that there would still be lots of homeworks that she had to finish. They also had a lot of homeworks from the days before. It's only natural for the top class to have tons of homeworks given by the teachers.
"Yeah, that's true. Especially today since we have a lot of important subjects today," Evelyn said, her eyes never leaving her books. Suddenly, Charlie stood up from his seat. His sudden action had made Evelyn surprised a little, causing her to stop her hands from writing as she looked at the boy.
"Charlie? Why, what's wrong?" Evelyn asked, curious. In her heart, she was afraid if she had said something bad.
"Huh? Uhm, I need to go to the toilet real quick. I have the sudden urge to take a dump," Charlie shamelessly said before making his way towards the toilet. Evelyn laughed a little after witnessing Charlie's behaviour. She then continued on with her homework.
The bell tinkled indicating a customer had walked in. Evelyn had zero interest in the customer's arrival so she focused on her books without needing to look at the door. Suddenly, an unexpected thing happened. A woman who looked like she was in her 40s sat in front of Evelyn. However, Evelyn was too focused on her homework that she didn't even realize the woman's presence. The woman slammed the table in order to get Evelyn's attention. Evelyn was startled by the woman. She then averted her attention towards the woman in front of her.
"Is there something I can help you with?" Evelyn politely asked. She scanned the unfamiliar woman, trying to think if she had met her somewhere before.
"Uhm, well. I have a question. Are you Charlie's girlfriend?" The woman straightforwardly asked, a smirk plastered on her face. Evelyn seemed confused by the sudden question. She then answered the suspicious woman honestly.
"No, I'm just a good friend of his. Why did you ask?" Evelyn asked. She was weirded out by the fact that an unknown woman had just suddenly asked her that question. She was curious as to why the woman had the need to ask her that. The woman then smiled after hearing Evelyn's answer.
"I can't believe he has a friend now," she thought to herself.
"I actually need some help. Can you help me?" The woman asked. Evelyn was hesitant to help the woman. They were strangers after all. Evelyn silenced herself while she contemplated whether she should help her or not. After a few seconds of silence, she finally spoke up.
"Uhm, it's not like I don't wanna help but—" Evelyn stopped her sentence midway when she saw that Charlie had come back to their table. Meanwhile, the woman that was in her 40s looked towards Charlie's direction. She displayed a fake smile and greeted Charlie.
"Oh hey, Charlie. It's been so long since we've met—" before the woman had a chance to finish her sentence, Charlie cut her off.
"What do you want, you murderer!" Charlie yelled as he felt anger growing inside of him. His face went red because he was trying to hold back his anger and also because he had a fever. His voice was loud that it had accidentally made Evelyn startled. She was shocked to see him so mad all of the sudden.
At the same time, all of the customers that were in the bakery averted their attention towards the three of them. However, the stares coming from the customers was ignored by Charlie. He was too angry to even care about other people. All of the customers were curious as to what was happening at that time. Meanwhile, Granny Nancy who had just walked out of the kitchen was shocked to see the unexpected scene before her.
