They walked and walked until they've finally arrived at their stall where Jayden, Giselle, Hana, Harry and Weng had been waiting upon their arrival. They were all found cleaning the stall together along with Jenny, Jerry and Luna, who were there because they decided that thet wanted to lend a helping hand and tidy up the stall.
"Sorry we're late. We were too caught up watching the soccer match at the mini stadium just now hehe," Brian explained, sending them a sheepish smile, hoping they'd fall for his charm and understand their mistake.
"It's fine, you guys were on time actually! We just closed the stall anyway and we were just starting to clean up with the help of these three," Harry reassured while also referring to Jenny, Jerry and Luna, who were just standing there looking like they're ready to help with anything at anytime.
"Alrighty then. How are we gonna clean this place up?" Brian questioned, in need of suggestions so that they can start on cleaning quick and go home early. They went silent for a bit, all trying to figure out a way on how to tidy up the place fast.
"I have an idea!" Evelyn chirped, getting the attention of everyone in the once silent room. Everyone looked at her, waiting in anticipation as she looked back at all of them with excitement radiating off of her.
"Okay so first, we'll have to put all of the tables and chairs aside so that we can start on the sweeping and mopping work for the floor. And also, don't forget to put the waffle machine and all of our equipments away to where the tables are," Evelyn instructed, explaining her idea to which they all nodded in agreement without any complaints made whatsoever.
"I'll go get the mop, broom and cloth real quick," Evelyn said, letting them know to wait for her as she went to go get the equipments they'll need to start on the cleaning. Just as she was about to walk out of the classroom, she was stopped by Charlie as he grabbed her by the arm gently but also enough to make her stop on her track.
"I'll go with you, to help you carry the stuff. I can't imagine carrying them all at once would be easy," Charlie insisted with his voice obvious in worrisome, causing him to earn a small chuckle from Evelyn's plump lips. She then nodded, giving him the permission to help her get all of the stuff they needed.
"Can I come with you guys?" Luna asked, giving them the puppy eyes, in hope that they'll accept her. Evelyn was about to reject her wish when Charlie all of the sudden responded to Luna faster than Evelyn could. He nodded making Luna smile ear to ear at his approval.
"Where's the storeroom?" Charlie asked, wanting Evelyn to guide him to the storeroom as he had never stepped a foot there before ever since he moved to the school. Evelyn eyed Luna in an annoyed manner as she then walked her way to the direction of the storeroom, quietly followed by Charlie and Luna behind her. Evelyn indeed hated Luna's guts and she also hated how she likes to play around with men's feelings like it's nothing. It was told that Luna was the type to easily get bored of boys and that she would change her lover everyday like how she changes her clothes. Long story short, Luna's a playgirl.
But, who wouldn't want to date her? She had all of the things a boy could ever ask for in a girl. Aside from that sick personality of hers, she had an astonishing physical appearance. Her skin looked like she had never gotten acne before. Her body was definitely every girl's dream body ever. A small waist, curvy body, who wouldn't want that? She was tall too. And not to mention, those luscious blonde locks was gorgeous. She was also one of the top students there. Everytime, she would always place top 10 in class. However, that made her personality did not match up to the owner's body.
While they were on their way to the storeroom, Luna suddenly decided to start a conversation.
"Do you know my name?" Luna asked, immediately flowing guilt into Charlie's veins as he realized that he never knew who she was despite being in the same class as him. Charlie went silent after receiving the question, fighting with his own mind as he tried to find a way to build a sentence so that he wouldn't hurt her feelings in any way possible.
"Sorry Luna. Charlie's obviously the new kid so he wouldn't know as much people as you do. And that's including you," Evelyn blurted out, emphasizing her point as she voluntarily responded to her question for Charlie. She noticed how Charlie went silent and how his face showed nothing but guilt, so Evelyn had to do what needs to be done. Charlie felt the relief washed over him as he heaved out a small stressful sigh. At the same time, he feared of how Evelyn's respond might've been a bit mean to Luna. But nonetheless, He nodded to her words, agreeing to her point.
"Alright, we're here," Evelyn sighed as she then pushed the door, opening it to be greeted by a dark room. She switched on the lights and quickly looked around the dusty place.
"I'll bring these 3 mops. Charlie, you'll bring 3 brooms and Luna, you'll take these dirty cloths," Evelyn instructed, throwing the cloths over to Luna while Charlie went to get the brooms on his own. Luna was clearly getting annoyed by Evelyn so she decided to take revenge on her soon. She kept her cool and held herself back because of how Charlie was also with them in the room. They brought the equipments out of the room and switched the lights back off. Evelyn closed the door and they all went to make their way back to the classroom. Their walk was interrupted by Evelyn's phone that was ringing in her pocket. Someome had called her, making all of them stopped on their track.
"Uhm you guys go ahead, I'll have to take this call," she said as she then walked away from them both to a more quieter place so that she could take on the call peacefully.
"Kevin? What do you want?" Evelyn asked through the device. It seemed that Kevin had called her for something.
"Are you not done yet with the cleaning?" He asked, ignoring her question just to give her another question.
"Not yet Kev, we literally just got to the classroom a few minutes ago," Evelyn answered in disbelief.
"Hehe I know. By the way, mama asked you to go on a dinner. Can you come?" He asked, waiting for her approval. Evelyn looked over to her watch where it said 5:30pm.
"I can't, Kev. Tell Aunty Mary that I'm sorry," she responded, feeling a bit guilty to turn him down like that. Kevin on the other line went silent for a bit, kind of dissapointed with her answer.
"Hmm okay then. Bye," He said for the last time before ending the call. Just as he ended the call, she immediately slipped her phone back in her pocket.
"Do you have a crush on Charlie?" A voice suddenly asked, making Evelyn turned around in surprise, both from the voice and the question.
