Chapter -10

After having lunch, she received a diary, containing names of many girls and clubs. She had to fix an appointment with a different girl each day without repeating before a month.

And that also in different combinations of clubs. At the same time, she received many calls from girls, asking for preference to come there tonight. Some were polite, some were sweet talkers, few bribed her directly, while others threatened.

It was a complete mess for her. 'God, it looked like she was managing the harem of some great emperor'. No one even talked to her all day.

This butler, Lucas walked like a ghost ever so silently that she didn't even know when he came and stood behind her or when he left the room. Neither he liked to talk, she babbled but he never replied.

If the question was necessary, he just nodded and shook his head that also very lightly. Like he was afraid his head would fall from his body.

It's just the first day and she was already feeling exhausted. She learnt from her mistake and cooked all the dishes containing meat, sweet and sour pork chops, steak and all. Even the sweet was made up of meat.

Except for having lunch and dinner, she didn't see the man in the house. Even at midnight when she was waiting for him to return the jewellery. He wasn't at home even at 3 am.

That made her think he always sleeps at those clubs with girls. Just when she was about to enter her room. She heard voices from her adjacent room. Strange, wasn't it Mr. Asbeel 's room?

She was sure he didn't enter the house as she was in the hall all the time.

The room was unlocked. After hesitating for some time, she opened the room and entered. There was pitch dark in the room, but she could barely see the silhouette of a man sitting on the corner drinking something.

"Mr Asbeel, are you there?" she asked slowly walking towards the shadow.

The man snapped his eyes open and there she saw it again, those bright burning eyes like the fire of hell.

The only thing that could be seen in the dark room where windows were also covered with thick drapes. There were only those eyes filled with hellfire.

Although she was a strong girl who didn't believe in superstitions at all, but right now she felt that there was something ominous in this room.

Like something covered her legs, she could feel things crawling under her feet but she didn't have the energy to look down.

Her whole body was frozen, she stood there like a statue. As if the stare were drowning her in them. She tried to speak but her mouth turned dry, voice was just not coming from her mouth.

She soaked her lips in her own saliva. And after trying many times finally a rough voice came out

"hello is that you Mr Asbeel? " there was nothingness in the room even her breath could be clearly heard.

Her voice mocked her in the silence. Tears coming out of her eyes. She didn't even know why she was crying. She blinked to stop her tears and just like that trance was broken.

After blinking when she looked back the eyes were gone, the silhouette was gone and that ominous feeling was gone.

She put her best effort and moved from there. Finding a lighting switch she opened all the lights and brightness swallowed all the darkness of the room. It illuminated as the morning sun peeked inside the room. But true to her feelings, there was nothing in the room. But she was sure she had seen someone sitting there in the room. She had felt his presence.

She whirled her head taking everything she felt as hallucination and decided to go back to her room. But she didn't dare to switch off the lights. Afraid that, that feeling would come back.

So she let it be. She dragged her body out but just when she opened the door. There stood he was on the other side of the door, the owner of this room and house.

He narrowed his eyes, gazed at her with complete annoyance. "What are you doing here in my room?"

He asked in a cold tone completely devoid of emotions. It was not at all like the playful man she had met in the club. His eyes were dead, and so as his voice. Fear started crawling, binding her more and more.

She flinched at his cold tone but it was true that she was in the wrong.

"I.. I heard noises. So I came to check but there was nothing. I am sorry mr Asbeel." She responded, in a barely audible voice too afraid of him.

There was nothing in there. That response made him a bit relaxed, he smiled deviously, completely shifting into a different person in a split second. If she had not seen it from her eyes, she would have thought they were twins.

"Do you come to check every male room late at night when you hear voices from their room? Huh?" He asked in the same whisper but while her whisper was full of fear, his whisper was oozing sexiness.

And she gave the effect he wanted. She became too stunned to reply and her body turned hot. her face turned crimson and she tried to break eye contact, but she can't no matter how much she tried. Like a spell has been cast on her.

"Tell me little angel, what were you expecting to see here in my room at this hour." He took a step forward and she instinctively took a step back.

This followed two-three times and he closed the door with a thud.

That's when she realised that she had entered back in his room and this time he was also there. Like a predator, he was gazing at his prey. Luring her in his lair and then.. She became more frightened thinking more.
