meeting with the sea god

Asbeel was still in his human form. But they still weren't able to decipher his look. As there was an illusion surrounding him. It didn't let others see how he looked and who he was to others. They could see him moving but his body would look the same to them.

The guards gripped their weapons tightly in their hands, ready to attack him anytime needed.

But he just didn't care, moving lazily as the whole place belonged to him he waltzed around.

Finally, when the guards had enough of his insolence, they started attacking him. Swords clashed in the air, and hypaspist was used to attack him. They slashed his hands, back, his whole body turned bloody. But in the next few moments, it formed again like the wound was never there.

Only his blood-soaked clothes were proof of the gruesome war and fatal attacks done on him.

But he did not attack back, nor did he waste his time in defence, he just continued to walk.

If he would kill even in his defence they would blame him for murder and the whole discussion will be against him.

A trail of blood was left behind him, he walked towards the entrance of the palace, passing his own poodles of blood, the cyan path, which was filled with blossoms turned red, he moved towards Oceanus palace, where the sea god resides.

Finally listening to all the commotion, the daughter and the angel of sea god came out, Amphitrite looked at the fight ensuing in front of her and frowned. Who was this merman who was walking like he owned this place?

And the most important thing was he was not even scratched in the whole process, she concentrated on her face and found it blurry. "A merman covered with illusion, fighting his way to get in, interesting!"

She walked out towards the entrance where the commotion was taking place, and raised her hand.

It took some time for the guards to see her presence, but the moment they realised that the sea angel was there, they kneeled down.

Keeping their head low, they all greeted her unison. "The daughter of the sea god"

She nodded at the mermen kneeling in front of her and then at the merman standing tall looking like a sore thumb.

He was looking straight into her eyes, there wasn't an ounce of respect in his eyes, much less fear of her presence. She raised a brow at his blatant disobedience. Now she was sure, even his body was an illusion he wasn't the one he was showing himself.

"Who are you?" she asked the intruder who was now smirking at her.

"It has nothing to do with you, who I am Amphitrite."

"So you know me, illusioner, care to tell who you are," asked Amphitrite, unaffected by his disrespect towards her, the way he took her name directly, it has been centuries that anyone had done that.

But the same could not be said about the guards, who were seething in anger, they all put their spears on his neck ready to cut it and serve to the sea angel.

But there wasn't an ounce of fear or anger on the face of the intruder if any he has a bored expression on his face. She was looking at his every reaction with intrigue.

It was clear he has much more strength than he was showing, his nonchalance was only attracting her further.

She raised her hands again to stop the angry soldiers, "who are you and why are you here?" she asked again in that same voice with the same smile, like she wasn't the reason for the blood dripping from his neck, but was here to welcome the guest.

"I am here as a messenger of hell, I am here to meet your father, the sea god, Oceanus"

She eyed the man, or should she say, as a demon she must say, he was putting a brave front, it was a piece of common knowledge, demons are hunted down in their region. They are despised and killed brutally, being dismembered in front of all the mermaids in the central plaza, yet here he was announced as if he was a god from Olympus.

"Demons are not allowed to enter here, I am giving you the last chance to run away before we slice your skin and feed it to fish or aquamarine" she replied in a low and cold voice, which could create shivers on the people around, all the guards kneeled sensing bloodlust coming from the sea angel.

But Asbeel remained standing there unfazed like he wasn't the one they were talking about.

"There is not much choice, Amphitrite. You either let me enter or prepare for a war, then you would be one to explain the reason to the one living a luxurious life in heaven. We don't care about how he felt disgusted but I think you do." he replied with a smirk.

"So you are threatening us now, standing in our land! Ha" she laughed coldly, "very well, then follow me, but you are responsible for your action demon. And it's better that you show your face now." she demanded in an authoritative tone.

Asbeel nodded this time, the illusion was only for normal people anyway, he didn't want to create panic or bring attraction towards him. He was going to show his real form here. So

He waved his hand and a black fog covered h

His body, when he crossed it, he was back in his human form.

Amphitrite, was stunned to see such an attractive demon, he has looks no less than Angels who was created by God in his leisure time, in fact, she was sure, they would also pale in his comparison, then she realised and roared, "Another illusion, I want you to enter in your real form, demon. Or are you ashamed of your looks. Don't worry, we won't laugh on you." she replied with a chuckle and all the guards laugh on Asbeel, following their princess words.
