Luna and Lunex are endangered omega hybrids. There have been hunters killing off the were animals. When their father sees the human 16 and 14-year-olds on the track training, he knows they are the ones.

The 12-year-old twins, Luna and Lunex, are giving to a set of teen brothers by their father who is running from were-hunters. When the boys are asked they are hesitant but agreed to the stranger when they saw the need in his eyes. Drake and Adrian take the twins and Luke, the twin's father, says goodbye before leaving his children out of danger.

What the boys didn't know was that the twins were definitely not human.
