Chapter 202 The Queen

Arthur smiled brightly. He decided to take this road long time ago. He wouldn't falter at such obstacles.

" Teacher, I have already told my answer."

Ancient One shook her head. She never saw a stubborn and bright person like him. Perhaps this was his charm.

" Do as you wish. However, be aware of America. They won't let you go easily."

Arthur's brows tightened. He thought the same, too. Arthur got up from his seat.

" Then, I will come back later."

He turned around and left. Ancient One looked at his back with a complicated look. She said quietly.

" That would be our last meeting, my student."

Next day.

In the royal palace of England. The queen was drinking her tea. She was looking at Arthur with a smile.

" It's been a long time since we last met, Count Frost.'

Arthur replied with a polite tone.

" Indeed, how is your body, your majesty?"

The queen replied calmly.

" I am very healthy. Besides, I exercise daily."

Arthur laughed heartily. He never cared about etiquette or something like that. Even he is a noble, he didn't care it. The queen didn't mind it either because she appreciates him much.

" Your majesty, I hope you can approve my request."

Queen's face changed. She answered with a serious look.

" I can approve your request, but you must train our troops. Moreover, I heard you had a deal with Russia and China. Because of this, I want more advantages."

Arthur stroke his chin. He guessed her idea immediately.

" I can do that. After all, this is my home country. It's my honor to help my country."

Queen's gaze softened. She said lightly.

" By the way, I hope you can inherit your father's mantle. He was our most respected knight."

Arthur smiled wryly. He wanted to learn about his father, who was a great hero of England. Unfortunately, his information was nowhere to be found. It was like he didn't exist in the first place.

All he knew was his father was a powerful knight who guarded England.

" I will think about it."

Queen didn't persuade him. She smiled mysteriously.

" Then I am waiting for your positive answer. By the way, I have sent my personal secretary to you. She is a very talented lady."

Arthur scratched his head. He had the world's best secretaries, yet the queen sent one to him. He had no choice, but to accept it.

Two hours later in Arthur's mansion.

He was looking at his new personal secretary with surprise. He asked with curiosity.

" Weren't you a spy? How can you be a secretary?"

The secretary was a former stewardess of his plane. She smiled with a professional look.

" I will introduce myself. My name is Betsy Braddock. Please take care of him."

Arthur groaned. He never imagined this situation. It was very awkward to him.

" Fine, just follow me around my new city."

Betsy tilted her head with confusion.

" New city?"

Arthur didn't say anything. He directly opened his portal.

Betsy saw an incredibile scene. She saw countless robots which were working in construction site. They were constantly building apartments and houses.

" How is this possible? Aren't you afraid of their rebellion?"

Arthur chuckled with confidence. He trusted his A.Is more than anything. Although he had contingency plan which included every superheroes, villains, neutral forces and artificial intelligences. He prepared for the worst situation. He named his plan as " Last Dawn"

" No. I believe in them more than anyone. They are like my family."

Betsy thought this was madness. No human would say something like this.

Suddenly, a giant shadow appeared in front of her. She immediately took a battle stance. Arthur waved his hand.

" Relax, they are my pets."

A giant bird stood in front of them. He slowly lowered his head and the yellow animal came down from his back. It climbed on Arthur's head.

Arthur grinned.

" Long time no see. You have grown up. I almost couldn't recognize you. You too, Pikachu. Your thunder element has become more powerful."

Arthur petted Hawk's head. Hawk felt comfortable as he was bathing in sunlight. As for Pikachu, he always liked Arthur's head.

Arthur didn't care it at all. After all, they were his family. He never thought them as simple animals.
